I think it is good but havent used it yet. I forgot I had this and had to pay another company to fix a virus. Wish I had gone through Geek Squad

The Geek Squad protection is the best product insurance I’ve heard of. I was very hesitant to buy a $1,000 laptop before I knew about this. Awesome deal and awesome coverage.

The Geek squad downloaded my software for my new computer quickly and perfectly. Unfortunately they are unavailable now due to virus, I'm hoping they extend my annual membership!

It's very simple, let the Geek Squad handle any issues you may or may not come across. Kids spill on your new purchase? Call the squad, they will get it taken care of!

I bought it to use for my asus computer but haven't had to use it yet!

Glad I had this when my new Dell laptop died after only having it three months and had to replace it with an HP. No questions asked, replaced it immediately.

Geek agents have always been very professional and well trained in all aspects of computer usage and technical issues and solutions to problems.

My work paid for my laptop, but they don’t cover repairs. I figured I should get this accidental protection since geek squad always does a good job covering my electronics.

Read the fine print. If they decide, at their discretion, to replace the covered item, rather than repair it, they will issue you a store credit for the amount of the original purchase. However, the fine print states that in that case, their obligations for the extended waranty ar3 fully satisfied. Meaning, while you will get a store credit to buy a new device, your new device will not have the extended waranty. If you want that, you will need to pay for it again again. Basically in my case, i prepaid $309 to allow me to return my defective machine after the return period expired. I have a new machine, but i have no extended waranty, and less storage due to pricing and feature differences for in stock items. The terms stated in the simplified description are misleading and i do not recommend this service.
