This protection plan for Geek Squad is highly recommended for those who want their electronics worry free. Everytime I bought some pricey electronics like laptop, I always bought this protection plan. Whatever happened to your gadget Greek squad will cover you.

You never know when life throws you curve balls, It's always great to protect your investments. I haven't had to use my geek squad yet but its nice to know I have coverage.

I had to replace my laptop 6 months after purchase. However, once my laptop was replaced, Best Buy canceled my 3 year plan, So, instead of honoring the remaining 2 1/2 years by applying it to the new replacement, if I still wanted coverage, I would have to now purchase the Totaltech plan. So, this means that if I get coverage for the new laptop, then in a 6 month span, I will have now basically purchased TWO plans for ONE laptop. This makes the Geek Squad plan worthless and costly, since the manufacturer's warranty would've covered the cost WITHOUT any additional coverage. Hopefully Best Best can make some adjustments to their replacement policy.

This computer i bought is great. I had issues with it after accidently dropping it. They resolved my issue here in Duluth Minnesota USA and i have an awesome and amazing product as if nothing ever happened!!

Always add the Geek Squad protection, well worth the extra dollar.

I have not used this service for the new Chromebook, but I also have the same plan for my 2-year old laptop. Geek Squad replaced cracked screen last year and a bad power port on the laptop this year under the plan.

Bought this to complement a open-box Surface Laptop. Have not had to use this yet, but in the past Best Buy support has swapped out prior laptops after multiple attempts to repair at their original value. So I expect the service to match my prior experience.
