ALWAYS GET THE PROTECTION PLAN! WILL NEVER NOT BE WORTH THE MONEY

I have a toddler and two teenagers so protection plans are a MUST! I have had 2 computers that have either had juice spilled on them or have been stepped on (I know…why was it on the floor?) Took them directly to Geek Squad. No out of pocket cost and if they couldn’t fix it then you get a store credit for the amount you purchased it for. The prices of the protection plans vary based on the type of computer but it’s worth it!

Never really used it for anything so, it’s probably good

Highly recommend especially if you buy your kids electronics. Claims are easy and it will help if needed.

Good service for setting up my TV a couple of years ago but to expensive for me as I onlyvused it one time after that for setting up my printer. The membership only knocks off a small percentage for services which doesn't justify the $200 a year fee. I would have saved more by just paying the full price. Also when I tried to set up appointment for my printer set up by phone I was on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up.

I have a new computer with an upgraded OS. The Geek Squad service has been a life saver in making sure my transition and learning curve went smoothly. They have helped me several times from installing new software, compatibility issues between devices, and just getting things running right! I think I will always have a total tech plan with them, it's like having your own personal IT consultant! Good job, Best Buy and Geek Squad!

The Geek Squad explained all of the available services to me for my devices and encourage me to call them anytime I need assistance. They even took my old Laptop and disposed of it properly. The other company failed me and had lost my Laptop. I was angry. Finally when they found it I brought it to the Geek Squad and they took great care of me professionally,

Great protection coverage especially for college students

Adding geek squad support was easy. My experiences in the past for service have also been good.

Geek squad is always a yes for us. Love the customer service and the vast knowledge of the “geeks” that come out.

I purchased the three-year Accidental Geek Squad protection for my new HP spectre laptop. I have not had the need for any repairs as of yet so I'm unable to know how well this will work. Unfortunately, in the three times that I've taken my laptop in, I found the local Geek Squad to be less than personable with interactions. Every service seems to have an additional charge and I completed the set up on my own. Several days later, I received an email inviting me to come in for assistance. When asking specific questions, I did not find Geek Squad members to be very knowledgeable. Truly a disappointment! I wonder if I should've gotten the insurance from HP directly but didn't know about this when I purchased my computer.

Peace of mind but hopefully don’t have to use it. We’ll see.

The in-store reps were amazing and very helpful, but my overall Geek Squad service experience was frustrating. My laptop repair took much longer than expected, and I ended up having to contact corporate to get clear answers and updates. I appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the store team, but the process itself definitely needs improvement.

Every kid in school has to have one. This was an inexpensive option and gets the job done. Im sure we will be buying more since they break easily. But that's all of them. If you want an inexpensive but functional chromebook try this one.

Like having my computer protected for decent price.

I had an issue with a computer I just bought 6 months ago from Best Buy... they were great, made an appointment, they assessed it.... determined it was a hardware issue, shipped it back to the manufacturer... the manufacturer fixed the problem and had it back to Geek Squad in about a week. They tested the computer before I picked it up... When I got it home everything worked like a brand new computer, no more problems... Geek Squad rocks

This has proven a great value for a teenagers laptop. When said laptop met it's untimeline dath via falling, this protection policy allowed us to replace it. It was almost painless. The one thing I wish was better, was communication over the month that we waited on the repair that never happened.

This Protection Plan just makes sense for us to have. I love the new laptop computer and I need to keep it working. Since the computer is a laptop, it is constantly "on the move" around the house. I love my wife, however, she is accident prone (and she freely admits it!) and we have a bit of a rambunctious pooch, so accidents can happen. Therefore it made sense to get this Protection Plan with our new and constantly used laptop computer!
