I got this to protect a newly purchased laptop which was replacing a water damaged laptop that had no geek squad protection. I learned my lesson the hard way, so I will be purchasing geek squad protection from now on

Need a zero star. So this protection will not cover issues related to inaccessible BIOS. I have a 3month old faulty ASUS laptop that would only display the logo on power up and this plan does not cover that. Geek squad claims its a software issue and requires $100 to diagnose the issue and potentially another $250 payment to fix whatever they find. Buy this plan at your own risk!

Haven't used the service yet but I feel much better knowing I'm protected in a bad situation.

it's expensive compared to other places with warranty but if it's bad, you do get the money back in credit though

3-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection, when they responsible to product with this program , it make me comfortable to use new computer. That's why I like buy product at BestBuy.

my Surface2 crashed (2 years old) and they were unable to fix, I received credit for my entire purchase price of the Surface2 towards purchase price of Surface3. Happy customer!

I have used them before. For the most part they are pretty good, but some of the people they send out to the house are rude and unfriendly.

I buy form Best Buy not for products buy for geek squad . You will not get this coverage any where else in USA . Laptops mobile etc you can get anywhere but not geek squad .excellent tram and product insured

I have had two different episodes with my laptop computers where they needed to be replaced, and each time there were no questions asked and the Best Buy people took great care of me, replacing them with new laptops.

Not for nothing but the extra protection on anything you purchase is always worth it esp when you have kids
