i didnt need to use the protection but when spending so much money on an open box product its nice having the reassurance that they can help if needed

So far so good.have had problems with my kid breaking screens but never a problem with geek squad repairs or service. They’ve always gone an extra step to make sure they’re accommodating my misfortunes understandably.

Nice Lenovo laptop with a touch screen and paid 2-year accidental Geek Squad Protection, my daughter is enjoying the features. And she said I should give the product 4 stars in the review. The free digital Trendmicro internet security that came with the laptop has not been installed up till now. I called Bestbuy and they referred me to the Trendmicro Geeksquad team and yet no solution from their instruction. They initially told me that they would prefer to come to my home to fix it, which would come with additional pay, so opted out. I want to say that this accompanied digital internet security is not free as Best Buy claimed if not let them install it for me rather than deceiving me.

Not used yet, will be using to xfer info from my old laptop to my new one. i hear they are excellent.

The geek squad service was really helpful with my broken computer and they got rid of the issue

If you're a student or a professional and you're going to spend a lot on a laptop or any expensive product I definitely recommend getting a protection plan.

My Surface Pro 3 was dying on me and was old. I took it in for service because my Word and Chrome would not load up. They said it could be a a motherboard or possible hardware problem. I tried several times to see if they could fix it because it kept hanging on me. They suggested I do a data dump and look at getting another computer. I bought it in 2015 and it's now 2020. I loved my Pro but had to purchase a new laptop. My HP Envy x360 is awesome! I bought them both from Best buy and love the products. I will buy my next one from them too. The Geek Squad helped me get Office installed, set up Webroot and worked with me on getting it ready for use all over the phone. I really like my Reps. professionalism, knowledge and patience. That's my I purchased the 2 year protection plan with them. I won't let it go. It's paid for itself many times. Great investment!!!

Geeks squad was kind and patient. I went in to get my lap top fixed. They gave me a gift card instead because it couldn’t be fixed.

Like any insurance, you really only feel like it was worth it if you actually damage your device and need to use it. I have purchased this before for my kids laptop and sure enough one day he dropped it and damaged the charging port in the corner. With the policy, it was completely fixed for free. Without it, I probably would have been out at least a couple hundred bucks. Had he not dropped it, the insurance would have been wasted money. In the long run, it is probably worth it if the device is for a younger person who is more likely to damage it.

This warranty is excellent!!! I would absolutely recommend this extra protection!!!

They have always been helpful when we call. If repairs are needed they are done in a timely fashion.

I recently dropped my computer and having this was a saving grace! It covered all of the damage.

They saved me money with all my electronics and computers. I have sent most of them to get checked or fixed.

So far, I have not needed to use the Geek Squad Accidental Protection Plan for my new Lenovo Flex 5i 2 in 1 Laptop. However, what they offer is a great service after the original manufacturer warranty expires. Even in the first 12 months, they will diagnose if they can help with an issue and then help send the equipment back to the manufacturer if needed.

Very glad that we got this with our purchase. It definitely came in handy when we needed it about three months after purchasing it and they were very efficient and helpful.
