I was really glad i had adding warranty because the st pete geeks squad are great they helped me everytime with my labtops. and even help my kids learn the right way to use their laptop for school and how to care for them

I haven't had to use the service, and hope I never do :-), but 4-years of protection is worth the cost for the peace of mind it provides.

I have used geeksquads insurance on a few of my gaming laptops and more expensive purchases over the years. Some of those had defects or were damaged due to mistakes. Best Buy has ALWAYS either fixed the issue to my satisfaction or replaced the item with a new item. In the few rare cases when the item couldn't be replaced they gave me a gift card worth the original purchase price of my product so that I could buy a replacement of similar quality. All in all I have been very happy with their insurance.

I don't always purchase extended warranty programs or plans, but decided to purchase one with my Surface Pro 4. Over time the pro got a dead pixel so I returned it to get fixed or returned or whatever they saw fit. Turns out they were going to send it to Microsoft and Microsoft would send them a refurbished one and then they would call me and let me know to come pick it up. I explain to them that I work with this computer and I could not or would not be without a computer for some undetermined amount of time. They decided that fulfillment of the extended warranty plan would be a complete reimbursement of all monies paid to the Surface Pro 4 initially. Then I could choose to buy something else. I have to say that this Best Buy on University Drive in Huntsville Alabama truly excelled in customer service. They did not have what I wanted and I couldn't be without the computer so they refunded me the original purchase price minus the extended warranty of course and sent me on my way. You had best believe I spent my money at that store that day and while they did not have the Surface Pro 4 that I wanted nor one big enough for me, I upgraded to a Surface Book 2 15 inch.

The "Squad" knows their stuff. Unfortunately, there are limitations to what they are allowed to do. For example: I had an issue with my trade in and couldn't leave it for them to finish the task. Just a bit of hassle.

I love this laptop! It runs smoothly, has plenty of storage space, and has incredible graphics. The only thing I'd change is that there isn't a little light to tell you that your caps lock is on.

I haven’t had to use this yet but once my warranty runs out I’ll be happy I choose an extra insurance for my work computer. I’ve previously used their services and they give a quick turn around and great customer service.

Was asvised on the protection plan and was well informed of the service. My spouse will be using it for college and woth the kids running around never know what could happen. So appreciate the sales rep knowledge they shared with us when making the purchase.

I decided to spend a little more this time and I am glad I did! You can tell this laptop is just made better, my last few were more flimsey and just more creekey with noises when opening and closing the lid, etc. This one is solid and feels well made. I also love the specs! I can play any of my games at best settings and it handles with ease!

I love knowing that i can use my laptop with peace of mind without constantly having to worry on "what ifs" for damages.

Whenever I can buy this plan, especially on Asus laptops, because best buy and asus are partners. And they take care of your equipment and if it not repairable it will make it right and refund the money.

Good accidental damage protection for an expensive new laptop. Surely hope that I never need this, but it is comforting to have the coverage there if I need it.

Great computer for basic searching and streaming. Nice sleek look. Sleek keys for ease of typing. Couldn't ask for a better laptop.
