Always better to be safe with your gear. So happy I got this. My last mac brokedown and it had no protection so all the money was last had to buy a new one.

I haven't had the opportunity to use the Geed Squad, but I am glad to know that I have the option of using them should anything happen to my equipment while I am out on the road. I do a lot of travelling for work and anything can happen between transport to and from a hotel room or using the laptop within the truck

Very fast laptop - press the on button, put in my password and it’s up and running. This is the first time I’ve had a laptop with AMD chip. No problems so far although I do agree with other reviewers about the large charger-very large compared to other chargers of the same type of device.

Safe option if you are a clumsy person like me. I just got my computer and thankfully no accidents have happened. Though I know if something does I'll have this warranty to relay on just in case.

Very good service! Had to have my screen replaced twice and got it back in less than a week both times. Very friendly and understanding!

Replaced 3 laptops that got damaged from my business with them as the laptops were initially purchased through Best Buy with the Geek Squad warrenty. Sent the laptops out for repair, and then received them a week later. Easy to use and friendly staff that kept me up to date of the repair progress.

If you buy a computer for a high school kid please please please get the protection plan. This saved my sons computer and the people at the Geek Squad are great at what they do and provided incredible customer support. If you do one thing after an electronic purchase (Computer, TV or phone) it should be to buy a protection plan.

When you have an upscale laptop, accidental damage becomes a concern. This protection policy eases that concern. The ease of getting repair work at the local Best Buy is also a huge factor. I've had very good experiences with it and scheduling appointments online is very convenient.

Thankful for this amazing service! It helped when my son thought his files / docs were lost and these guys were able to help navigate and recover what we were certain was long gone!

The geek squad at cascade store in Portland are helpful and excellent in providing service. One of these plans was able to replace a broken screen on brand new computer, this saved me over 350.00 and was invaluable!! I would recommend this to anyone who has kids, knows kids, or is a fumble bunny like me. Cheers and Thanks Cascade Station Geek Squad members for all your professional and organized efforts!!

When purchasing this newer software/ computer I was informed by the Geek Squad agents that to get the two year protection plan like this one above is best, so in case something drastic happens I am covered! Thank you for this assurance of being careful; they truly care for their customers, and want the best for them, so thank you!

Insurance it’s only a sucker move until you need it. Am a huge advocate for insurance on all electronic products that l purchase. Would highly recommend this to everyone. An extra $50-100 on your product will give you a peace of mind when something catastrophic occurs like when you drop your computer while going through TSA.

It’s good to have , I always purchase insurance anytime I buy electronics from any place. But Best Buy geek squad is good until it’s not, meaning when you run into a issue that’s not covered

Robert of the geek squad unlocked my Microsoft account for me. Afterwards I asked about purchasing insurance for my new computer, and he got on that right away. I then got a discount for being a geek squad member. Robert did an excellent job managing the others waiting for their appointments.

Purchased with a new gaming laptop. Haven't had to use it on this item yet thankfully, but glad to have peace of mind. Definitely worth it on high-value tech purchases, particularly items that don't devalue quickly. Have made geek squad warranty claims on tech items in the past and had good experiences.

My son has a tendency of not taking of his things. I reviewed the extended warranty & I am delighted with the coverage.

I don't usually purchase extended warranties, but in this case I thought it was wise for the peace of mind. My old laptop fell off the table and the touch screen was smashed. So when I bought the replacement laptop I wanted to be sure that I would be covered if something like that would happen again.

I was unsure as to which laptop I wanted so Team Member Forest (at the Bee Cave location) was super helpful, and patient while helping me figure out which would be best for me. I become overwhelmed when there are a lot of options, and I am not a very tech savvy person, but from start to finish, he made the shopping experience easy and smooth.
