I haven't had to use the service, and hope I never do :-), but 4-years of protection is worth the cost for the peace of mind it provides.

Very helpful as tried use new lenova, never had before. No c drive Ques, back up drive type need, etc. Very patient, answered all my questions, concerns and assisted through this process. Thank you.

Allow me to preface by stating that I'm disabled, I don't drive, and I don't have a person that can take me to Best Buy. Upon calling Geek Squad, since my new Chromebook has been defective since day one, the representative instructed me that I'd have to come in. I explained to him that I couldn't do that. He then offered to have someone come over for an extra $150 (ballpark). That's about all I have to say about that.

I never buy anything expensive without purchasing the warranty. I have used them in the past and Best Buy makes it easy to repair or repkace items quickly.

**Will update once the NEW computer I purchased is received ** A used computer was received today, I ordered a new one! I will not show a photo of the locked screen with the previous owners name, but the computer was purchased as a brand NEW one. There are still finger prints on the touch pad. Upon opening the shipping box I knew something was up when I was the Samsung seal was broken and the Best Buy inspected by tape was on the Samsung box. Then when opening up the computer it immediately turned on with the ladies name on the screen and I was locked out, plus the finger prints on the touch pad. I immediately called customer service and they assured me that they would be shipping out another computer and this would indeed be a BRAND NEW one. I will be shipping this used one back tomorrow. Updates to come. Please pay attention to your packages, some of us aren’t fortunate enough to live close enough to a Best Buy store and make in store purchases. We are at the mercy of the retailer and trust that they will be honest.

I love knowing that i can use my laptop with peace of mind without constantly having to worry on "what ifs" for damages.

It's $50 but worth it! You never know what can happen in two years and that is exactly how long I will be really needing my Chromebook for while I'm in college. I saw this same Chromebook on Amazon and it had a two year protection plan for $100. This one saves money and you can actually talk to a person if you ever come into some protection issues. Protect yourself out here digitally y'all!

The geek squad service was really helpful with my broken computer and they got rid of the issue

The rep was attentive and helped me install certain controls for my kid to be safe online

Was only able to use it once..but was fast and was able to get laptop fixed..

Not used yet, will be using to xfer info from my old laptop to my new one. i hear they are excellent.

I absolutely love my insurance policy from Best Buy! It gives me total peace of mind knowing my purchases are protected. The coverage is comprehensive, easy to use, and such a great value for my money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable and affordable product protection!

The "Squad" knows their stuff. Unfortunately, there are limitations to what they are allowed to do. For example: I had an issue with my trade in and couldn't leave it for them to finish the task. Just a bit of hassle.

I am so very glad that I purchased this Geek Squad Service. I've already had cause to call in for assistance 3 times since I purchased it after buying my new home and moving here to Missouri from Texas about 5 months ago. I was diagnosed with cancer nearly 5 yrs. ago and was then turned over to hospice and not expected to live. All of the Radiation caused nerve damage and I lost most of the use of one hand and part of the other. The Chemo triggered a horrible form of dementia. After being miraculously healed of Cancer and released from Hospice all of the rest really put me behind as I muddled my way out of the dementia. It's been such a long journey, so when I get a bit confused and simply pick up the phone to call for help figuring things out from the Geek Squad it truly has been a life saver for me.
