Didn't help my with anything, they couldn't repair hinges of a laptop, so they refunded the laptop purchase price, which didn't even cover the equal replacement value, since the equal value laptops were more expensive. Blamed me for the hinges, an didn't refund this geek squad repair. Not really worth it.

Best laptop to buy with a 4080, with the i9 and 32 gbs of ram it leaves nothing to be desired.

I purchased the Accidental Geek Squad Protection when I purchased my new HP Envy laptop. I figured seeing that I just spent all this money on a new laptop, why not spend just a little bit on an insurance protection. The Agent mentioned some of the items this would cover and I thought, well, why not. If I didn't have this I would probably end up needing it and it might end up costing a lot more for repair in the long run. This was a chance purchase.

my laptop broke in the midst of covid. I was sent strong packing to send it out to be fixed. Took a while with shipping issues because of covid but it was fixed. Unfortunately it only worked for a while and same problem was back. The store finally opened by appointment only. After looking it over it was suggested I'd be better off with an exchange for a new one. So thats what I did. Im glad I took out the protection. They did what was best for me.

I had a complicated situation by buying online and not exactly knowing all of the ins and outs of what I purchased. When I went into the store, Eric was so helpful and got me all straightened out. He explained everything to me and set up my computers.

This plan protects my pocketbook for the next 3 years.

Find the Geek Squad to be a lifesaver. I am not a millennial although I spend many hours on the computer during the week at my workplace, it's a difference when working on a personal laptop at home and I'm grateful to have a Geek Squad to assist and pull me out of a jam, provide one on one assistance with my laptops when needed. Geek squad has always been helpful and near by when need assistance with computer issues. This is opposed to the manufacturing process and have to send to an outside location.

Always good to have just in case. If you can afford it, get a longer plan.

Geek squad services are usually very good. If you have a product under GS warranty and you have problems, you can return your item to Best Buy and get another equivalent product. I get GS warranties on everything I purchase from BB. However, I took 1 star away because if you don’t need to utilize your warranty for your product, you don’t get any percentage of your $$ back for it.
