This was a must when purchasing a new laptop to be used for school work, saves a lot of worry.

A MUST YOU PAY A LITTLE MORE BUT YOU NEVER KNOW AND THEY EITHER FIX IT OR YOU GET CREDIT THE AMOUNT AND GET A NEW ONE , I BOUGHT A TOUCH SCREEN ONE THAT HE KINDA DROP THE BAG PACK AND IT CRACK THE SCREEN AND I HAD THIS PROTECTION IT IS GREAT

I know I have posted these Best Buy protection plans reviews on here several times, so I won't keep saying the same thing. Bottom line, the easiest and hassle free protection plan in my opinion there is that we have used. I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have the money to go out and replace anything at anytime over say $150 of electronics or appliance's. Bottom line.

This service has allowed me to recover from so many bad products under heavy use. On one hand, that means the products can be iffy. On the other, the warranty is great enough to cover that and leave you happy.. enough

Best Buy has a great geek squad. When my iPhone X got stuck in a boot loop, they tried to resolve the issue for me first. When that led to a dead end, the replaced it with a replica model & told me to come back if there were any issues with the new phone. The team was nice & patient, they even made me feel comfortable having been there for nearly two & a half hours.

So far I havent used the Geek Squad but the way I read it. It will cover alot of things for their Chromebooks

Most of the time I am on the road working. I am degreed in electronic technology. In the old days I use to fix my computer and call it a day. Know that I am away from home most of the time, I don't have the time to troubleshoot a family member's PC if it stops working. Geek squad has more than paid for itself by fixing a start up issue with my son's computer. Thanks Geek Squad!

Haven't had to use it yet hope she don't . I bought just in case of user error if repairs should be needed I'm sure a best buy will be close to her collage.

Replaced less than 3-year old Surface with Lenovo Yoga as the screen was flickering and became strenuous to work. As the warranty ran out on the old, we bought 3-year protection from Geek Squad. I am sure this will be worth it whether or not we need it. In the past, we used the service on iPad key board and Best Buy Geeks made it quite easy to replace the broken ones with new every time.
