So far, I have not needed to use the Geek Squad Accidental Protection Plan for my new Lenovo Flex 5i 2 in 1 Laptop. However, what they offer is a great service after the original manufacturer warranty expires. Even in the first 12 months, they will diagnose if they can help with an issue and then help send the equipment back to the manufacturer if needed.

Great laptop! Solid build and easy to handle. A tad bit heavy.

I bought this for my boyfriend. He is happy with it, is fast and also can be connected with the TV. Through Bluetooth.

Like any insurance, you really only feel like it was worth it if you actually damage your device and need to use it. I have purchased this before for my kids laptop and sure enough one day he dropped it and damaged the charging port in the corner. With the policy, it was completely fixed for free. Without it, I probably would have been out at least a couple hundred bucks. Had he not dropped it, the insurance would have been wasted money. In the long run, it is probably worth it if the device is for a younger person who is more likely to damage it.

If feels good to know my laptop will be covered through nursing school. My salesman was very nice and he explained all the options. 3 years seemed like the best plan because my program will be 2.5 years.

My Surface Pro 3 was dying on me and was old. I took it in for service because my Word and Chrome would not load up. They said it could be a a motherboard or possible hardware problem. I tried several times to see if they could fix it because it kept hanging on me. They suggested I do a data dump and look at getting another computer. I bought it in 2015 and it's now 2020. I loved my Pro but had to purchase a new laptop. My HP Envy x360 is awesome! I bought them both from Best buy and love the products. I will buy my next one from them too. The Geek Squad helped me get Office installed, set up Webroot and worked with me on getting it ready for use all over the phone. I really like my Reps. professionalism, knowledge and patience. That's my I purchased the 2 year protection plan with them. I won't let it go. It's paid for itself many times. Great investment!!!

This thing blew me away it’s literally a desktop in your palms

My tech specialist transferred all data from my old desktop computer to my new laptop that I wanted to retain. He also helped me load a new program I had purchased to prepare the new years tax return for 2024. Then he spent time showing me how to use features on the laptop! He was very kind and knowledgeable. This hands on training was very helpful as I had never owned a laptop or touchscreen computer. The transition has been smooth with such great help.

Geek squad took care of me with my computer issue and resolved my problem

I ended up buying this because the laptop I purchased and had to return had a broken screen. I got a replacement laptop, but felt like I needed to pay extra for a warranty just in case it breaks again. I don't usually need to buy these for my laptops as I'm fairly careful with them, so the fact that I felt I needed to buy one of these in the first place is a mark against the laptop I bought (or its build quality) and also the company for selling broken products.

I should of purchased the 5 year plan instead of 2 years.

Fast and efficient laptop, for the price its a steal, bought this for college a year ago and it's amazing, go ahead and get one !!! Am loving it

It's always good to have a protection plan for your computers and phone. Best Buy Geek Squad is good but not the best. First you need to get it and appointment just to bring it in, absolutely nothing can be fix when you come in which they use to do. Now you must leave your product and wait for a fix. Next you need to make another appointment to pick it up, which can take up to a week or more. They have nothing in their program that lets you know if they have a cancelation to get in earlier. So, getting anything fix could take at least a couple of weeks or More. I'm glad that everything is covered but not happy about getting in and out of repairs.

My son loves geek squad! They are wonderful to work with! They are always there for you when you need them.
