I buy the insurance for any device I carry around a lot. I learnt my lesson once when I had liquid spill on my keyboard and the device died. Money down the drain. Best Buy's insurance is pretty good, they don't actually replace the item, but they give you the money back in a Best Buy credit and you can buy anything you want. Not perfect, but still better than a total loss!

Used geeksquad when my chromebook died. Great customer service and the in-app updates are very helpful. Was able to exchange my chromebook when my previous one was junked out.

I am new to IOS MacBook. It was a small challenge but Apple and Best Buy make it so simple. The transition was easy and the geek squad amamzing.

The return time for my laptop replacement for a broken screen was a bit far out at 3 weeks but I was glad I had it when I accidently dropped my new laptop.

The squad was very prompt at helping me with my laptop repair issue. and the insurance was very prompted at replacing my laptop or posting the cost of my laptop back on my card. I just chose to replace my laptop. So I was able to leave the store the same day with the replacement. good job Geek Squad.

We buy all of our computers and electronics at Best Buy just for the Geek Squad protection. I highly recommend it. I work from home & primarily use a laptop. I can't count the number of times over the years that this warranty has saved me. + I have never had any kind of problem w/ having my damaged computer replaced or fixed with this warranty.

I'm glad to have the geek squad on my side if anything happens to my new computer. I won't take my computer anywhere else but to them...

Talk about protection and knowledge all wrapped up in one item. Pennies a day is worth a fortune when you have a problem and no knowledge of how to fix the problem. But, when you have the Geek Squad on your side and working for you, life is a breeze. Thanks for always being there when I need you.

Quick to get an appointment. When I arrive the staff is always helpful a know what they are doing. They alway solve my problems. Excellent service.

Last laptop broke down and I definitely regreted not having any safety for it. This time it was different. Protection is great and always up to date

A must have with laptops as with kids at home, there is chance of spilling liquids or dropping the laptop, and accidental damage is covered by Geek Squad.

I usually get geek squad protection for all of my electronics & devices. Doesnt matter what is wrong with the device, they're definitely trained & efficient enough to fix it.

They have never let me down. When my computer's screen shattered they got it all taken care of and sent out the same day. I was then givin a bestbuy card with the same amount I paid for it,to get a new one. They also have never let me down when I needed my phone fixed. Highly recommend and will continue to use them.

Always recommend obtaining the full geek squad protection w total tech support... ya never know when you need it! Have and will myself! Note: I think I was asked to write this review in error as one of the 2 purchases of this was actually for an item rung up in error resulting in both the item and the geek squad total tech support being credited. my hard drive crashed on my laptop that I purchased from a different retailer. They were very helpful on getting me the information and helped pull all of my files and pictures off of it. So I was grateful that they were able to do that. It was more than I expected over $100, but over all worth it. Lesson learned- make sure you back up with external hard drive.

I havent had to use it on this laptop yet. But, i have used the warrant for a cracked screen on another laptop i purshased in September. It had a cracked screen i was very satisfied with the results.

The monthly Best Protection is a great item to have when you have multiple items. Especially, when the need arises for an item issue and id that it can't be fixed. However, it is covered to be replaced. A Happy Customer!
