    Find the Geek Squad to be a lifesaver. I am not a millennial although I spend many hours on the computer during the week at my workplace, it's a difference when working on a personal laptop at home and I'm grateful to have a Geek Squad to assist and pull me out of a jam, provide one on one assistance with my laptops when needed. I've used them several times. Would recommend.

    The Geeks are the best! They take care of every issue I come across. All I have to do is call them and they take over. With the remote access they are able to access my machine and find and correct the problem every time. A lot of times they are able to just tell me what to do without taking over my machine. I live 50 miles from the nearest Best Buy/Geek Squad store and am far more confident with their expertise than what I can find locally.

    Refunded laptop since they couldn't fix it.

    Didn't help my with anything, they couldn't repair hinges of a laptop, so they refunded the laptop purchase price, which didn't even cover the equal replacement value, since the equal value laptops were more expensive. Blamed me for the hinges, an didn't refund this geek squad repair. Not really worth it.

    Geek squad services are usually very good. If you have a product under GS warranty and you have problems, you can return your item to Best Buy and get another equivalent product. I get GS warranties on everything I purchase from BB. However, I took 1 star away because if you don’t need to utilize your warranty for your product, you don’t get any percentage of your $$ back for it.

    I brought in a laptop with a BSOD. They talked shop very easily with me and were quite professional. They did nothing wihtout consultoing me about my case.

    Great staff very knowledgeable on how to take anything in and out of your house without damaging anything. Ive spent iver $150k on everything there and always a please doing business with them. Fast delivery time as well.

    For the amount of money spent on electronics in the first place, let alone replacement costs, getting additional protection is very worth it to me...more 3 years out, for many people who don't take good care of their gear, seems to be when they'd damage/destroy things anyway. You may not think it's worth it...so consider the cost of having to find and buy what you're getting all over again before you pass this up.

    You honestly can not go wrong with geek squad service. They are super fast and friendly. All you have to do is give them a call or go online. No question they have not been able to answer for me. There has been several times i have messed up my computer (letting kids play games) where i end up just getting online and having geek squad fix it. They never treat me with disrespect or make me feel stupid. They would fix my computer and even offer different suggstions which helped me greatly! I will always have geek squad as my service.

    The agents IN THE STORE worked with me on fixing, then replacing my laptop. They successfully transferred nearly all of my programs to the new one, then assisted me several times with all the "Windows 11 glitches" that happen frequently.

    Acer is a good brand so I gave it 5 stars because I'm assuming it will be fine and the price was right. Can't really give a proper review because it's a Christmas gift that the recipient won't get until after New Year's.

    Protection Plans Rock

    The protection plan is awesome. My son screen cracked and Best Buy repaired it. The protection plans can be expensive however; accidents happen. It would have been more expensive to buy another one. I would continue to recommend Geek Squad to my family and my friends. I tell people buy your electronics from Best Buy with the plan.

    Geek Squad install Virus plan on my computer

    When purchasing a product that may create a problem later it is best that you get a Geek Squad subscription, it is the best subscription I have ever purchased. The Geek Squad team are truly knowledgeable and explain what is needed and what is done with your computer or phone.

    Better support than Microsoft Complete

    I owned many Surface products before landing onto Surface Book2. I have taken 14 days time to decide upon Geek Squad support as I have researched on Microsoft Complete and Geek Squad, while Microsoft gives you 45 days of time to decide upon over Best Buy's 14 days policy, I found the support adds one more year at Best Buy for the same price as Microsoft gives only 2 years, while Best Buy extends one more year of coverage. Also, you could take back if there is any accidental damage. This is great.

    I was a little apprehensive about purchasing the protection for my new laptop. Accidents and mishaps never happen in my house. A little over a month after my laptop purchase, my daughter knocked over a bottle of chocolate milk on the device, household never streak erased. I took the device to the Geek Squad for an assessment and due to the extent of the damage, it needed to be replaced. Money well spent!
