Computer was defective and the screen would not come on. The laptop was purchased 1 month prior. But the geek squad was able to get this sent out and repairs very quickly

I bought this with the purchase of my new lab top. I am glad to know that I can go to them if anything happens to my lab top. I think the price is well worth it. I am going to use it to replace my battery when it starts losing a charge since they will do that under the protraction.

I haven't had chance to use thankfully but I do have a kiddo so I'll probably need it later on. The person who helped me check out was super informative about it.

Bought protection for a replacement computer after my son broke his first device. I knew accidental damage would like occur, and I'm so glad I have protection this time.

Cant tell you enough how much you will need geek squad. Your kids will find a way to freeze your screen. Get the keys stuck.lets not forget a virus. Geek squad knows a solution for every laptop problem. I've had to use them on more than several occasions and solved the problem all the time.

I purchased this 1-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection for the chrome book that I purchased for my daughter during this COVID-19 Pandemic and the kids at home doing Virtual learning. And I am so glad that I did. It gives me a each of mind just incase anything goes wrong with the chromebook.

Given the mixed reviews of an HP laptop, I decided to include this for piece of mind. It is possible that it will expire before I'd need to use it. However, the laptop is not cheap - upper middle of the road in terms of price. The reviews were mixed with good and bad but mostly good. So far, this protection hasn't been used, which is good news! Because of Best Buy's price match program, the laptop price was adjusted and so was the Geek Squad protection price.

Havent had to use this yet, thank god. But you definitely want to have this with any computer or electronic device. Took a laptop in that didnt have a protection plan and they wanted 200 just to run diagnostics on it. So i believe it will pay for itself the first time i use it.

Definitely recommend to buy the Protection! Worth every penny. My laptop was damaged and all I had to do was pick out a replacement. Of course I had to go through the process of them “trying” to fix it first - and even that would have cost extra without the plan. I always buy the protection plan on high priced items. It’s the main reason I shop Best Buy!

I trust the GSP to repair my devices. I feel their training is very good.

Worth the extra price for a peace of mind, considering the purchase was for a middle school aged boy.

Service was excellent. Representative was curtious and helpful.

I haven't needed the Geek squad yet but I know from past experience that they know what they are doing and do it well and fast. I had an issue with a hard drive in the past. I thought my data was lost forever but they didn't give up and I got back my precious pictures. I'm so grateful.

To be honest, I don’t know what exactly I paid for, but I think it might help me. I don’t understand what these guys are supposed to do for me and for my laptop.

Insurance can be costly especially in these trying times. My computer is working great, I like all of what geek squad offers. I just hope that it pays off in the future. Thank God I haven’t had to utilize this insurance so far.

Glad we bought it. Had issue with Labtop recognizing USB plug. Carried to best but. She got to it immediately and was ready to go on under 10 min. Very satisfied. My daughter uses this in college so being able to go to any best but for service is great.

So far, so good. The one time used, the machine had to be returned to the factory for repair. Guess it is what it is.

This will make a great difference and help me feel more secure should any mishaps occur with the computer

I can't really speak to the actual fulfillment of the service, however I can say that the peace of mind that comes from having a protection plan (on something that I could not afford to buy a replacement for) is absolutely worth it's cost if the item is important. There's my rant.
