This is a great added protection to your purchase. I have had to take advantage of this when my product stopped working and Best Buy is great to work with and loads of communications along the way.

Purchasing the Geek Squad protection has given me tranquility. I have several children and you need know when an accident can occur. I have only used the service with my laptop and it was smooth and easy.

The list of services rendered is too exhaustive to enumerate to incude installing software on my laptop and desktop and coming out to my apartment to get my desktop and printer up and running, and scheduling multiple consultations.

I buy alot of equipment for my business and family, and I always buy a 3 year accidental geek squad protection plan for all of it. There is good and bad. On one hand, I had a Microsoft Surface Pro that kept having issues, and it was replaced several times. On the last day of the 3 year term, I brought it in again but this time, they were not able to replace it with a like model. Therefore, they issued a gift card for the full amount I paid for it, and frankly, it almost did not seem fair. I went across the store, and spent it on a new computer and of course bought the 3 year protection. I had a Lenovo Mini PC, 18 months old, i9 technology, I loved it. Power went out, and after two weeks of waiting, they would not replace it, and got a gift card. I cannot get that unit again. If you do not have an appt, or you are even 10 minutes late, multiple times at multiple stores, they will turn you away. Twice when this happened, nobody was at the counter, and they literally told me that this may be true, but we have appts and if they show, they can't be helping somebody with another appt time or with no appt. I had to come back. When you do drop a unit off, there is no way to reach them, unless they call you. If you call back, I have never reached that person. Also, it could be a week or 4 weeks that you are in the dark. In general, the lion's share of this dept that I have experienced are not all that interested in your pain and have this sort of "you need us more than we need you" mentality.

This is a must because you just never know. I have to always make sure to get protection for my gadgets. It is beneficial to avoid the expensive costs if damaged and you don't have coverage.

I have been buying these plans since 1997. Have only had to use them a handful of times and everytime it saved me hundreds of dollars upfront and i never had the stress of not knowing how to replace things or stop working because I didn't have a PC or laptop etc.

Great computer at a great price. Perfect starter for a new gamer with tons of memory! Highly upgradable for the seasoned veteran. Definitely recommend!

BestBuy accidental protection covers your purchase from that expected moment where the item stop working or damage from an accident. I would recommend this insurance. Save a lot of money when the expected happens

I started buying these for everything. I don't need my stuff breaking, or me breaking my stuff (it happens). So far geek squad has always been able to fix my issues, and its been always free so far

I use to work for best buy at the customer service area right next to geek squad. With my history of doing returns and knowing what they do I already know the worth.

I had a tv break down on me in 6 months and i didn't put insurance on it now I'm out of a 600 dollars and i have too buy a new tv always insure your product u never know
