They were covered. I would tell everyone to get the protection plan very a affordable plan.

The problem I had was that one location I went to the tech keep referring to my keyboard on my laptop as a software issue when it turned out it was physically damaged.

I brought my tablet in for a hard reset, and the guy even didn't try or ask for information about the tablet. I had better experience with my laptop ( they sent it out for repair), the total cost of repair would've been comparable to purchasing a new similar laptop.
