Note that bestbuy new repair policy is to send to microsoft v/s swapping for purchase price which is what they used to do. In my case had battery not holding as long of charge, so took in 1 week before expired. They sent unit out 2 weeks later they replaced with referbished older serial number unit. And that unit had a scratch 3/4" long in display. They sent it out a second time, and that refurbished unit with another s/n came back with battery that was also not holding up as it should. They finally said they would return my purchase price and write this one off as junk return. I then purchased the Surface Pro 9 which I am happy with and took out this Geek warranty again.

Love this product. Does everything that I want it to do and very easy to use and the graphics are also great. Use this for our construction company.

Had to take my tablet in for the screen to be fixed. Tablet was still usable. Just had a cracked screen. They sent it off to see if they could fix it. They ended up junking it and not sending it back to the store so i lost my sd card full of all my kids pictures etc. And when i asked for that back the guy said he can try but doubt he can get it because they are hard to get ahold of and just throw it out. Then they gave me instore credit for the prive i paid for the tablet 3 years ago. And i had to rebuy the protection plan even though i still had time left on the protection plan for the broke screen one. Very unhappy about it!! And theyre over priced to fix anything!

So glad i spend the extra money on this for my daughters tablet, because she totally dropped it on concrete and broke it. Luckily I took it back to Best Buy and they fixed it for me for free! Always buy those extended warranties with high priced items!

Purchased this and I don't think I ever had to use it (I can't remember if I used it or not) but I think it was worth the money even if I didn't use it because I knew if something happened or went wrong I knew I could depend on the geek squad to fix my problem.

Very friendly professionals when I requested the repair service and instead they replaced my Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e tablet and gave me the guarantee as stipulated in their service manuals.

You have to have a geek squad protection on all your devices is definitely a must they do such a great job when it comes to repair your device or helping you get it fixed they have a membership that you can sign up for two so you should try that out

The geek squad protection is so worth to have. I had issues with my computer due to my daughter and didn’t even have to take it to Best Buy. I called and they took over my computer system virtually to fix the problem.

Always good to have coverage. Had it on a previous tablet. Had to be sent off for repairs, which was under warranty and when I went in to pick up tablet it had gotten broken in transit. Was replaced for brand new tablet which was also an upgrade since they didn't have any like the one I had.

This service is definitely worth the money. When I purchased my 1st Surface Pro I accidentally dropped it and damaged it. I took it to the Geek Squad to check out and they immediately determined that my Surface was irreparable, and it was replaced on the spot.
