Alway purchase when you buy anything from Best Buy

I bought this for my husband. He loves it. I find it hard to operate. I have to cut it off each time to add a book, and getting around on the platform is awkward, but as long as he can get to the book and read it, he's happy.

Easy to use as Best Buy keeps track of it on the computer. You don't have to have the actual receipt or mail anything in. They will also sub a similar product if necessary. Unfortunately if your product malfunctions before the two years, you will have to buy a new plan for the replacement item.

they replaced my Granddaughters tablet, when they were unable to fix it, worth the price given the price of a nice tablet these days

Overall not to happy with this purchase. The basics behind this is if the device can power on then they will work on it but if not then they will offer you an "express replacement" at a preset amount (not ran with current pricing) which in my case was 50 dollars more than the current pricing. In the end it's left to the geek squad's discretion what they do with your device and even though this protection promises a 1 time replacement battery (which is what i wanted) it is not as freely given as advertised,

You will need protection on any device or item that can break. I've used Geek Squad for years and had one issue that was quickly resolved.

My kids play their tablets all the time especially when we go out of town.

I cracked my screen, and I sent it out via geek squad since I had the protection plan. A few weeks later they were able to replace my tablet

its just as good as any other tablet. And I don't use it right now for anything but games

Purchased extra protection with my laptop, should of purchased 4 year plan. Yet, the 1 year came in handy when my laptop stop working correctly. No cost associated with Greek squad help.

The warranty is top notch, and so is the customer service. I have spoken to them numerous times, and it is always a great experience.

Always get Geek Squad protection or at the very least you should get total tech support.

Used this plan after someone knocked my surface pro off a desk and onto a hard floor. They have already taken care of the issue.
