You will need protection on any device or item that can break. I've used Geek Squad for years and had one issue that was quickly resolved.

I didn’t have to use it but it was good to know I had it in case I had to use it

I bought this for my husband. He loves it. I find it hard to operate. I have to cut it off each time to add a book, and getting around on the platform is awkward, but as long as he can get to the book and read it, he's happy.

To be honest some of the things you buy don't truly break until your warranty is over so it would be so nice to renew it before that happens.

I like the fact that I purchase my tablet a week ago and best buy let me come back to put on the protection that was good because I didn't have the money at the time to add it on.
