Protection plan is a scam

If I had not purchased the 3 yr plan, the item would have been covered by MFG one year warranty, at no cost to me.

Posted .Hi Butch – Our Accidental Geek Squad Protection Plans cover many things that manufacturer’s warranties do not, such as drops and spills. While it turns out what did your procuct in was covered by your manufacturer’s warranty, you were still covered further by your Geek Squad Protection Plan. I’m sorry that you didn’t find value in that coverage, and the peace of mind it is designed to bring.

The directions very specifically tell you how to insert the memory card in,,, the wrong way!. After I got past that hiccup we attempted to sync up with its Bluetooth, because you can't use it all unless you are using your phone and it's app. It synced up with my phone about 1 out of every 12 tries. Brought it to geek squad once since I had the protection on it. Returned it the 2nd time back. Got a different brand and model.

Insurance has lots of loop holes

I bought a laptop open box and geek squad was supposed to have been over it but when i got home it had a virus they did fix it but should have been caught before going back on the floor for sale

Activated too early

It activated as soon as the product shipped. I may need those 10 days extra in the future. Not cool. Please fix this Best Buy.
