Protected and always aware of your device , great service

I bought this product to use as a motorcycle helmet camera and it has worked perfectly! Unpacking the camera, I was wary about the weight because I didn't want it to interfere with riding, but after mounting it to my helmet I found that the weight was no problem. The picture quality is pretty good while the stabilization could use some work, but the camera still deserves 5 stars. Being on the more affordable end of action-oriented cameras it is wildly versatile.

My son loves this camera. He takes it everywhere and uses it to make videos while riding his scooter, or playing with action figures. Its easy to use. Its great battery life, compact size and all of the accessories make it truly a go-anywhere camera.

My son accident dropped my gopro max and shattered the screeand lenses. Glad I purchased the protection plan. Very worth it if you are buying expensive gadgets. Never had a problem and replaced my item very fast. The employee at the store was very helpful and very knowledgeable .

Just buy it in case you need it. Imagine having to replace at full price.

3-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection protects well

This insurance used to be great. I'm a professional filmaker and use this insurance for all our gopro's considering their application. We fly them on drones and mount them in athletes. If they break in an action sports crash, Best Buy would replace it with a gift card for a replacement. Key word: USED TO. My recent experience at best buy was the worst Ive ever had. With a broken gopro in hand they told me they changed their terms and my only option was to talk to geek squad and mail it to a repair center. I told them my insurance should be accidental replacement. The employee replied with "We can change things whenever we we want. Read the fine print.".. Wow! I asked if I could have my money back for this warranty they then told me they would pro rate it for the last month and a half I had left. They told me my gopro would be sent off for a week. It's almost a month and my gopro is still gone with no notifications or updates. On the paperwork it says that "gopro recommended it be sent in for repairs". This seems so dishonest to me. Please do yourself a favor and DONT BUY THIS INSURANCE if you are planning on buying a GoPro. Go straight to gopro for your purchase where they actually care about supporting their products.

DECIDED TO USE PROTECTION PLAN ON THE GO PRO OR MY SON JUST IN CASE. HAVE HAD PLAN IN THE PAST AND COVERAGE WAS OUTSTANDING.

You need it, this gives you peace of mind in all sense. They repair it or change it without any problem. Perfect

I would never buy such a product without purchasing a protection plan such as this

Ordered a laptop and got the geek squad protection plan for 2 years which would have ended on 09/14/2020. In 04/20, I called that my laptop battery was not holding a charge. They told me I had to bring it in. I asked we are in the middle of covid. They said I would have to wait. I called again in 06/20, they said i had to go in but then not only covid, but then riots at my local best buy and I couldn't even go in. Now my protection plan is up and I still need a battery. I called because they said I could get an extension. I called around 9 am, was on hold for 45 minutes and then transferred to a different department and then was hung up on. I called back 30 minutes later. I had to explain the whole story again, they transferred me again and after waiting for 30 minutes, got hung up on. I called again and got a really nice person, didn't have to wait that long, but had to tell my whole story again. Only to find out that I cannot get an extension. So my review for this is that it SUCKS!
