I always get the protection and have used with no problem.

So happy to report I haven't yet needed the service, but it makes me happy to know my Samsung-Galaxy S6 is protected if the need arises.

Geek squad has been great for me. I had a Fitbit go bad before manufacturer warranty went out and the process was very easy to get it replaced. Much better than dealing with manufacturer.
