I disconnected it for like an hour, then it was working, so now the freezer is not working.

It freezes everything you put in there, milk, eggs lettuce. This happened as soon as I got it. It also has a horrible sound that comes and go. I called the company and they came but the guy checked it and said that it was working fine. He left and everything started happening again.

I purchased several of the 10.2 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerators for my motel, and they’ve been decent so far. They offer a good amount of storage for their size, and the bottom-freezer design is convenient for our long term guests. They’ve been running reliably and are easy to clean, which is a big plus. Overall, they’re a practical choice and work well for the motel setting.

worked for 4 years. I was hoping for more. Gave away a 20 year old refrigerator and it was loud and scratched up, but it's still working. This was it's replacement.

Thank God for the warranty but the hassle of getting another refrigerator from best buy was horrible.

This is the shortest lifespan of any refrigerator we’ve ever owned in the last 35 years. Would never buy another one with this brand.

I picked up from Kenesaw Store. When I return home and open the pack I found that one corner was dent. I call the service thay guy just told me send back!

Poor product. After just 2 months refrigerator died.

Runs constantly, says energy star but must have zero insulation.

Ice builds up around fan and gets very noisy. Must remove ice by hand.

It only lasted about 15 months. Warranty isnt very good.

I was very weary about buying this refrigerator to replace a broken ten year old model for a tenant in my building after reading all of the negative reviews, and unbelievably tone-deaf replies from Best Buy. However, the price is great so I crossed my fingers and went for it anyway. I'm happy to report that a month later, I haven't heard of any issues, and the tenant is happy with her shiny new appliance. Will of course update my review if that changes. I certainly won't be thrilled if I have to drag the thing to a Best Buy store for repair. The size is perfect for a NYC studio apartment and the LED lighting and bottom-freezer configuration are hard to find at this price point.

I bought this refrigerator last summer, and was thrilled with the size, features, design, and sale price. It's the perfect design for a household of two who make every meal at home and aim to waste nothing, as it ensures that you see everything and eat what you have while it's still fresh, before you buy or make more. As a household we try to consume as little as possible, which is why it kills me that within the first two months our first refrigerator made increasingly loud compressor noise to the point where we could no longer tolerate it and had to get a replacement. It's like having a steady jackhammer running in the kitchen at random times throughout the day and night. So we had it replaced in September, and by March the replacement was exhibiting the same behavior. Today on April 1st it kicked in at 05:00 and roared continuously until 07:30, eliminating my last few hours of sleep entirely, even with the bedroom door closed. We now have to seek a second replacement for this one. Please, Best Buy/Insignia, just make a small AND reliable product for once.

i bought this for my small condo and have been very happy. No more getting on the knees to get items from the refrigerator. It is so quiet I never hear it run. Was going to get a Haier brand at Lowes of the same size and less money but the reviews were horrible. Now I have an insignia brand microwave and 40 inch LED TV and have been happy. insignia brand apparently is made to sell exclusively at BB.

Should have checked the reviews more closely before buying. This refrigerator quit working after 1 month. Freezer works fine but the fridge will not cool and we lost a large amount of good food. We also sold our other fridge which worked fine and now we have to buy a more expensive one. Will be returning this fridge. The overall design of the fridge was very nice and it looked good in our small kitchen but not worth anything if it doesn't keep food cold. Very upset over the situation and best buy should remove from their product line.

I got this fridge on sale for 300 bucks in February 2017. With the 5-year warranty for an extra hundred bucks. I've had it now for 6 months and absolutely no problems runs great. I have it in my bedroom upstairs so I don't have to keep running down stairs and back up again 20 times a day. And it is very quiet a little hum but quiet. I would definitely say one of the Best Buy's I've ever bought . I would give it more than five stars but I can only give it 5 if you buy this fridge keep checking back to see if it's on sale that's what I did and Best Buy will reimburse you the difference like they did for me five stars love this fridge.

Had been great until lately, it’s been making some crazy noises

Within 3 weeks of purchasing this fridge, it started making horrible noises which came from the back whenever cooling kicked on. We also noticed that our produce was freezing in the fridge so we turned the temp to the warmest setting which didn't help. The noise got so loud that it was keeping us up at night. Best Buy was wonderful and exchanged it for a new one. However, 2 weeks later it's happening again. Found a bag of baby carrots frozen solid in the morning along with ice forming around the thermostat. The noise is getting louder and louder. We are trying to resolve this through the manufacturer since it's obviously an issue with the fridge not anything to do with Best Buy. I'm not holding my breath as they said "you have the ability to plug in the product at the store and make sure it is working". To which I have no response. How does one respond to that? It's a fridge, what am I to bring food and chill out in Best Buy for a week to make sure it's not going to freeze all my food and not start making insanely loud noises?

The freezer is great. Quiet. Makes ice cubes in no time. BUT, the refrigerator itself. We can't seem to make it cold. We've turned it up to max. We've juggled everything around in the freezer to make sure there is enough air circulating, that the fan is sucking the cold air up into the refrigerator itself. But drinks stay medium cold. We're buying a thermometer next. Not even sure food is safe!

I will be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever left a review on something, but I am surprised at how horrible this fridge is. I’m on my third replacement in less than 10 months! The freezer works fine, but the fridge portion has not worked properly. I have had to throw out so much food due to it not cooling. Literally anything on the top shelf feels like it’s at room temperature. The first fridge cooled just fine, but started making loud motor noises sporadically. That is when we contacted Best Buy and they sent this replacement. Sometimes the replacement cools fine, but most of the time it does not. I make sure that it closes tightly, I have it on the coldest setting, I even have started to put a bowl of ice in the fridge to try and get it to cool while we wait for our third replacement. I’m grateful that Best Buy has sent replacements, but honestly I just want a different fridge at this point! Stay away!!!
