Not the best but the worst the first one was way better. Probably because it did not have john Goodman destroying everthing

The movie was not suspenseful or scary. It falls with the other predictable movies.

Movie was awful, lost my attention the first twenty minutes

When I first heard of this movie, I felt that the inclusion of the Cloverfield name was just a not-so-clever marketing tool used to salvage an un-sellable film about a devious doomsday prepper. (Maybe it was--I guess we may never know). If JJ Abrams wanted to produce a Cloverfield anthology franchise, why didn't it continue with Super-8? *Giant shrug.* Before viewing a movie, there are two kinds of audience: those who highly anticipate a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and those with expectations ranging from neutral to negative. This time, I was in the latter camp, leaning more toward neutral. I was skeptical that Abrams was just trying to pull one over on audiences for a quick buck (though I'm sure his jaunt in the Star Wars universe landed him enough of those to keep him out of the poor house for awhile). Ultimately, to sum it up in a spoiler-free way, this was a fun movie to watch as long as you excuse the cliche that survivalists are always dangerous nut-job shut-ins with Norman Bates-like tendencies.

This is a great movie with a surprise ending that I did not expect. The steel case as always is very cool. I always like the Steelbook collection sold by Best Buy. I feel like I'm purchasing a collectors item in Bluray form. This is a good film but don't go into it thinking it's going to connect to Cloverfield. This is its own film and has very little ties to its so called predecessor. The golem is worth watching at least once though and I recommend watching. John Goodman is great in his role.

I have never used Best Buy's preorder/store pickup. And man, have I've been doing it all wrong. The store location reserved the movie for a full day and I didn't have to chase the product down all over town. I don't normally care for steelbook editions unless the artwork is worth the surcharge. I loved this movie so it was a no brainer after they revealed the artwork for this exclusive. Plus you get a digital copy of the first "Cloverfield" movie, which was also fantastic. I couldn't recommend this more. Go pick it up, you'll be glad you did.

John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead give two of their best performances ever in this claustrophobic, intense drama. Dan Trachtenberg does a great job directing the small cast in a tight space. Video and audio are very good. A nice selection of bonus features are here including a commentary from the director and producer J. J. Abrams.

I bought and watched this movie with out reading any reviews, and really not sure what to expect after the early shaky cam found footage film before it. It's really hard to give any kind of honest review with out spoilers, I will say John Goodman gave a really good convincing performance through out the film. Well you maybe like me and figure the plot out there are still things that will keep you guessing and watching to the end.

The whole movie takes place in a very confined space with only three actors, but does an extremely great job of it. It doesn't use cheap tricks to scare, but it a brewing intensity throughout that continues to build towards the end. The very end is iffy to get into, but the beginning more than enough makes up for it. That's high spoiler territory though, I think it's worth it though.

While I did enjoy the film I did expect a bit more from it. I do love the idea of these Cloverfield films being loosely connected. John Goodman turns in a stellar performance and the film certainly has an edge of suspense to it. A great film score as well. I'll avoid spoilers and say I enjoyed it but wanted a bit more.... of something.

This is a well made movie. It doesn't have a lot of set changes or characters to follow. It relies solely on story and the actors' skills. Not quite sure how it links into Cloverfield but JJ Abrams said there will be another movie. Like most movies that she is in Mary Elizabeth Winstead steals the show. It's definitely her movie.

I am always a fan of the steelbooks that are exclusively made for Best Buy. The artwork on the steelbooks are alway nice and visually interesting. I had not seen 10 Cloverfield Lane before I purchased this but i was a fan of Cloverfield and thought I would give this one a try. The movie was really good. I enjoyed every minute of it. And of course the steelbook was very cool too.

WOWA....loved this movie.John Goodman was outstanding ,as always.This was the perfect follow up to Cloverfield....I was so hoping they would make one.The drama and twisted way that Goodman portrayed his part was creepy and well done.I know by the ending that there WILL BE another Cloverfield and I can not wait....LOVED IT!!!!!!!!

This is a great movie. It is very scary. Three people are stuck in a basement. And something is going on it the world outside them. This is a very scary movie. It is one the scariest movie will ever see. Do not bother with the first one.

John Goodman really takes it to another level in this movie. All 3 of the main characters do a good job, but he really stands out. I can't give too much away, somebody else probably already did, but you won't believe why he helps her when he didn't have to.

Be forewarned that this DOES take place in the Cloverfield universe! Just keep that in mind on first viewing. I can watch this film a million times, John Goodman is so unnerving and unpredictable in his role, definitely a classic suspense story.

I really like this one. It's not like the original at all, but it's apparently happening at the same time as the original. This is more of a thriller with some Sci-Fi Horror elements. I love the humor and actor performances are great.

My son had saw the adds and wanted to see this movie we bought it and watch together. really good. Great storyline very intriguing quite different than a lot of other movies I've seen.

This steelbook was pretty neat and wasn't just a standard steelbook; it portrayed the movie uniquely. Also, this doesn't take into account how good the movie was either!

I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing throughout the whole movie.
