Saw this movie in theaters and had to pick it up on blu-ray for the great price. Really suspenseful and a great addition to anyone's movie collection, not just fans of thrillers.

Good movie. I actually like Cloverfield better, even if they aren't connected in any way. But still a good movie to watch.

i love the slip cover for this blu ray. It has the top cut off it so it connects to the case its self. Very good movie too

but I really dig it. the movie left you wondering if it was all in his head or if there was something going on... until the end

I enjoyed this movie! It is a semi-sequel to 2008s Cloverfield since it takes place in a different location from the first one with different characters in an underground bunker.

this movie was different. it is good but little boring for a little bit then a twist surprise twards the end made up for it.

j.j. aabrams did a terrific job in this story line.john goodman plays a survivalist who is trying to keep a young woman and man alive.Do not know what lies outside the bunker.

I enjoyed this movie and decided to add it to my collection. It had a twist at the end of the movie that you will like.

For the entire movie I was convinced things were going one way and then they craftily turned another period Well Done movie.

This movie is short but really good. I got it on sale for $10. Definitely recommended at that price. You get blu-ray and digital download. This is John Goodman at his best.

This movie kept me guessing the whole time; and I love mystery and thrillers. I haven't seen a good thriller in a while. Really liked it!! I bought one for my father-in-law.

Great Friday night movie. Obviously it wasn't one of the Blockbusters of the year, but it's an entertaining suspense thriller. Fun to watch with the normal Bad Robot twists.

A great thriller with winks to the greater Cloverfeild universe. Goodman's performance will make your skin crawl.

Directed by that person who also directed Whiplash and La La Land. I love the actors in this movie and the perspective.

I went into this with a pretty well established idea that they were going the thriller/slow-burn route. That's pretty much the route they took, but the acting (aside from Goodman) wasn't really up to the task. While a departure from the 1st person view was a welcome change, the absence of a dynamic soundtrack was not. The first film had plenty of LFE and enough dynamic range to keep your attention. While this film doesn't have the action of the first, there could have been a lot done to the audio/score to keep us from losing interest. Ultimately, I am giving this film 2 stars. It would be a 1-star, but I am going to watch it again to give it another shot. The fact that it isn't SO bad that it doesn't get a shot at redemption nets it a 2. If you get frustrated by watching films in which the characters make poor-to-terrible decisions, stay away from this one. Goodman carries a lot of it, but there are so many things going on that don't fit the narrative of what they are, seemingly, trying to portray it comes off as distracting vs immersive. Like I said, I'm giving it another shot, but I can see this one getting donated.
