The beginning is a bit slow. There is a lot of time spent building tension between the characters. About half way through, the action ramps up. The ending was a bit of a surprise...a nice surprise though. :-)

This is one of the better films I've seen in awhile. It's a nice dual story about monsters and the forms they can manifest in. John Goodman is amazing as always and Mary Elizabeth winsted...need I say more. The end may not be for everyone but the journey is a good one.

...that this movie was really good. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I am looking forward to it. My son went to see it in the theaters, and he insisted we get it added to our movie collection.

Really enjoy watching this movie. There are a lot of subtleties that take a second viewing to pick up on. The whole movie is like a roller coaster ride that keeps you guessing till the end. Highly recommend for thriller/drama/sci-fi fans or original content.

I wasn't sure about this movie as the original Cloverfield was only so so, in my opinion. However, John Goodman and the rest of the cast were amazing. Lots of twists and turns and surprises. The last few minutes blew me away. I am soooo glad that I bought this movie.

10 Cloverfield Lane is a modern suspense filler thriller that leaves you begging for more. Just when you think you have figured out the plot and characters, the story takes a right turn you don't see coming. Very entertaining and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

The story is an interesting twist on a supernatural thriller, but with a good secondary story about the perils of abuse towards women. John Goodman acts well in this movie, so its worth a watch

10 Cloverfield Lane. Very good movie. Believable, really keeps you interested in what's happening throughout, except maybe the last 10 minutes when it turns into Space Invaders of the 3rd Kind.

10 Cloverfield Lane is fantastic. It jumps into the story and does not insult the viewer's intelligence by explaining every little detail. The visual clues and background audio (radio for example) are there. The acting is spot-on. I highly recommend this film.

This is a really good sci-fi, apocalyptic movie. The characters are well cast, and the movie is adept at making you periodically guess who the established protagonist and antagonist really is (Are they evil? Or good? Or both?) with no predictable ending,

Marvelous sequel to Matt Reeves' original, and much better. Beautifully directed by Dan Trachtenberg at times reaching near-Hitchcock status in suspense, with great performances, especially from Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Don't miss this!

I thought it was a fitting film that kept you guessing till the end and then gave a tease of a tie in to the first cloverfield. John Goodman shows he can slide into any role no matter the film

John Goodman is the man... Totally fits the part, had plenty of suspense, foreshadowing, and great actors. Highly recommended movie, definitely worth picking up. Will watch again this weekend

John Goodman delivers a menacing performance from beginning to end. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is excellent as well. For such a claustrophobic movie, the sound design is phenomenal in my 7.1 setup. I look forward to the day I upgrade to Atmos for this one.

A woman is blindsided in a traffic collision and held captive in an underground bunker with a psychotic maniac. The movie does a nice job of building suspense. 10 Cloverfield Lane might actually be better than the original monster movie.

This film will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Just when you thought you have it all figured out, it surprises you with the unexpected. Good film and a must see

John Goodman plays a role you have to see to believe. The suspense of what's outside the shelter, will the girl escape, and if she does will she wish she were back inside? Nice ending!

So this is a great stand alone. Movie that seems like it is in the same time frame as Cloverfield. Not 100% how they tie in together. But as a stand alone movie great. John Goodman is awesome in the creepy factor. Other actors did fantastic also.
