It's just as you'd expect. A card gets shipped in the mail. I wish there was a digital version so I didn't have to wait for shipping.

It's Nintendo money. You can buy stuff on the eShop with it, provided that Nintendo actually ever releases anything you want to buy.

This lets me purchase a digital game on Wii U or 3DS while still getting rewards points at Best Buy. Highly recommended.
