Roku Subwoofer works great with the Roku Soundbar

I saw the Roku soundbar and subwoofer on CNET. We read reviews and decided to purchase it. I ordered it and within ONE (1) hour, Best Buy delivered it to my door. Not only a great sound system, but great service. PS We also purchased the soundbar. Great purchase.

Works, does not vibrate on all BASS sounds

But, the subwoofer is quirky. It will rumble loud and proud on really low pronounced bass sounds but most of the time you can't even tell it is on. I have tried tweaking settings. It seems most of the sound, even Bass passages come from the bar itself. For the price, I was not expecting a miracle. Nor should you.

Game changer

However, once the subwoofer was added, it changed the overall sound quality from good to great. It is expensive but did complete the overall effect we were looking for.

It's performing well with movies and while playing PlayStation. And it's fairly light. Overall it's a good product, perhaps lacking some design features but good so far.

Best Buy comes through when Roku didn’t

What was great is that I tried to order this twice from Roku and they denied me twice even though my payment method approved the purchase. I ordered with Best Buy and got it next day.
