    Marshall MG-10 Guitar Amp

For the money this is a really good all-around amplifier. I actually use it for several instruments. The sound quality for a 10 watt amp is pretty good. The build quality is typical bullet-proof Marshall...there's a reason they are famous. The durability is good...mine is drug from room to room and outside all the time. I know several no-name practice amps and some other name brand (Peavey) who have small practice amps like this...but they are not as nice as the Marshall. I like you can input CD's to play along with. I hook up the line out on my Korg Wavedrum and play with my son as he jams his guitar. I have also used this as a "PA" system by hooking up my iPod and putting it outside...not bad for a $69 amp!

    GOOD SOUND FOR THE MONEY

I'm a frustrated musician and die hard AC/DC fan. I wanted to emulate the sound that Angus Young produces without forking up the money to do so. Marshall amps have always been my favorite and is the standard that AC/DC uses to this day. My new practice amp get's me a bit closer to the crunch that Angus enjoys when playing his hyper-blues riffs. My only concern is that the tone for the amp seems a bit on the low range. Outside of this relatively small issue the amp is great to practice with.

I did alot of research & comparrison shopping, found it for the same price elsewhere but got it at Best Buy. I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase "BUT" the amp came packaged in the origianal vendor carton & was pretty well beat up, as a warhouse manager for a large retailer I can tell you this unit should have been over boxed to prevent damage. With that said I would plug in it in as soon as you receive it if you order it online. My amp was fine but that was shere luck.

I didn't buy the amp from best buy but i bought it from my local music store. I just wanted to say that it is a great amp with a great sound quality. It is not one of the best Amps out there yet I recommend it for any beginner like me.

For the price I was surprisingly pleased at the strength and clarity that this amplifier exhibited. Excellent for beginners.
