bought this one for my dad and he really enjoyed it

This was a great movie to watch and hear. This story is one not many people really know unless you have read the book because it wasn't all over the news. Having lived on Ft. Campbell as a teenager I would always here my father or his soldiers talking about 5th group which is the group is depicted in this movie. A must watch for any military history buff. If you like movies like black hawk down, lone survivor or american sniper, this is for you.

Carefully made, mostly factual story of the first military response to the 9/11 attack on the US, full of realistic settings and details. with a believable Special Forces team. Several characters were engaging, including an Afghan general; the action was thoroughly gripping. The more you know about such operations, the more impressive this film seems. The special features were also quite satisfying.

True story of 12 US Army Green Beret troops dropped behind enemy lines in Afghanistan after 911. Until a a few years ago it was still classified. It stars Chris Chris Hemsworth who play's Thor in Marvel's Avengers films and Michael Peña who played in FURY and Marvel's Antman. Today at the former world trade center site there is a monument dedicated to these 12 men who went up against a foe that took no prisoners. I highly recommend this film.

I ordered this hard to find BluRay DVD and Best Buy found it and shipped it to me quickly. It arrived in perfect condition and earlier than expected. Great service. Very impressive! This DVD presents an accurate portrayal of what it was like for our early troops in Afghanistan. Well worth watching.

I think that "12 Strong" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and I immediately enjoyed it and I also think that "12 Strong" was a very inspiring film with a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action including original and inspiring personal storylines.

12 Strong [Blu-ray] [2018] the movie is a fun movie to watch and is based on a real story. Not everyone may know that it is based on a true story but the movie plays like a movie and is entertaining if you like action movies. The scenery was great and is a fun way to spend movie night.

I think that "12 Strong" was one of the greatest historical/action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also think that "12 Strong" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action including an exciting and original personal storyline.

I appreciate the deal Best Buy gives when we get the Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy all for one low price !! And then when I use my reward certificates, a lot of times it's free, or very, very cheap ! I enjoyed this movie, I think, because it was a true story and because of all the horses ! those soldiers were such heroes !!

I thought I knew the story of almost every war flick out there. I saw 12 Strong in the theater and had no idea we sent such small groups of our nation's finest into Afghanistan after 9/11, with little to no support, to prepare the way for the coming War On Terror. Thanks to the Brave and their families for their sacrifices.

This movie is based on a true story of 12 very brave men fighting for this country! I highly recommend that every family and every teenager and every pre teenager watch this movie! These are the kinds of things that go on that we never hear about but that make a huge impact in America!

A lot has been forgotten about since 2001 in regards to the 9/11 attacks and what followed. People should know what kind of sacrifices were made in response to that day and also understand that the US is still the "Good Guy." This movie does a great job of telling a story that 9 out of 10 know nothing about.

Based on a true story this movie shows how, underneath it all, we are the same. We are all one race, the human race. Enjoyable for its genre the movie tells the story of the Afghan “Horse Soldiers” right after 9/11. Sometimes disturbing but, based on subject matter, how could it not be. I recommend the movie and highly recommend the book which it is based on, “The Horse Soldiers” by Doug Stanton.

12 STRONG is an action movie based on true events that happened in response to 9/11. A U.S. Special Forces team of 12 aided the Afghan horse soldiers against the ruthless Taliban and Al Qaeda. The acting, choreography and special effects were convincing and well played. The casting was very believable. This movie is rated R and not for children. The heartless enemy behaves sadistically.

This is a very good movie. Hemsworth shows he is alot more than Thor. It shows that the American answer to 9/11 and the courage, valor and grit of these 12 soldiers and the Afghan fighters against the Taliban. It shows just how complicated and difficult this action was. I highly recommend this movie.

This movie was the beginning of the war that still has not concluded. History shows Afghanistan will never be conquered by anyone. I am very proud to have served our flag but an exit plan from there is long overdue; for the sake of my brothers and sisters in arms as well as the whole region.

Good movie based on a true story. Thought it would be more exciting but it did have its moments

12 Strong is a real great true story action film. Some parts of the movie, describes what the Taliban were like, after September 2001 bombing of the World Trade Center Towers. Chris Hemsworth's real wife plays his character's wife in the movie.. The battle scenes were spectacular!
