Okay the story is thin, but the cinematography is fabulous, shot in New Mexico, not where the real story takes place in Afghanistan. The video is superb and the audio loud. Well worth a buy.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this movie, but after watching it, I was blown away with the special effects. The fact that it was based on a true story made it even more interesting to me.

I saw this in the theater when it came out. Contrary to the reviews I liked it. I thought it was well done. I buy what I enjoy. I waited a while hoping this would come out in 4K but it hasn't so far. The 4 stars is only because it's regular Blu-ray.

This film is based on a true story and I would have to see it is one of my favorites. This film really gets to you emotionally and just makes the viewing experience much much better

Good action movie about our history that I never knew. Lots of shooting on horse back. I never did see them put in new clips, lots of fun watching the bad guys get what was coming to them.

This story is unbelievable and tells of the bravery of our armed forces right after the trade towers incident! We are lucky to have such dedicated individuals protecting our way of life!

Enjoyed watching this movie that is based on true events. The action is good, acting is good and to watch the colors and sharpness from the blu ray adds to enjoyment of the movie.

This movie was so good. Was cool to see what happened right after 9/11 and how we weren't prepared at all for this kind of attack. If you liked Lone Survivor then you will like this.

12 Strong is an underrated and stirring war film, telling the story of the "horse soldiers" who were the first troops on the ground in Afghanistan after 9/11. Looks and sounds great on Blu-Ray, it would've been nice to have more bonus features though.

Forget it is your expecting any of Thor in this movie. Hemsworth plays his character well and the story is one you won't hear on the evening news, though it is based on true events. Sit back and enjoy

A must watch movie if you are into 9/11 and also military movie. Based on the true story of the first group of special operators that went to Afghanistan right after the 9/11 attack.

Historical events and exciting story was blended so well. Had to watch it over for the minor details because got so involved with the acting and action.

This movies about 5 Special Forces group going into Afghanistan after 9/11 happened and there’s a few books out there about this movie to that I would suggest reading too.

I will admit that I did not even know about the horse soldiers until I heard about this movie. I thought the story behind them was a good on and told in a good way here. The movie slowed down a bit in the middle the 1st and 3rd acts saved it.

This movie takes you back to 9/11/2001. It walks you through the hard decisions the earliest Americans in Afghanistan had to make. Very entertaining, great movie, great actors.

I saw this movie not expecting much, but was quite surprised. It’s a very touching and moving movie, with plenty of action. It’s now one of my favorites in my collection.

Had no idea this actually took place after 9/11. Awesome film that seems to deliver a very informative story that was not known by most of society. A little over the top in some parts but definitely a film to add to your collection.
