An emotion-evoking screenplay about a very dark moment in history, when our government - and absentee Sec. Of State, Hillary Clinton - refused to diffuse a political powder keg, before it erupted; and then would not authorize and send help to (safely) rescue not only our Ambassador Stevens, in Libya, but other American and local workers of the Libyan Embassy, when it erupted in deadly violence - not sparked by an "offensive movie" about Islam, which were the lies our State Dept. held on to even when it became obvious it was a lie. They left our people there to die; were it not for the selfless bravery of a team of private military contractors who broke protocol and put themselves into harm's way to save many that night, who otherwise would also have perished. A black mark, indeed, on the inaction of our President and Secretary of State!

An absolutely outstanding movie based on an incredible incident in our recent past. Being a true story makes it that much better and enhances the experience of watching the movie. It also shows the dedication and brotherhood of the military.

I read the book first and had to get the movie! I can't believe this really happened to these people! They are true hero's in my book! Great action and a good plot make this a must see war movie! Just as good as or better than American Sniper!!!

Awesome movie and another steel book for our collection

Really good movie to add to your collection and as I have said before with other movies I’m a big sourround guy and this movie doesn’t disappoint.

If you can put aside that Hollywood left out the truly historical significance of the U.S. Government's failure to protect it's citizens which is left out of this movie, you will truly enjoy a well acted, exciting movie. Enjoy.

13 Hours was much better than I expected and appears to be very factual according to the records.

This movie looks amazing in 4K, but this soundtrack will put your home theater to work! Make sure you don’t scared the neighbors off or just invite them over! The sound is amazing!

This is the kind of movie that 4k works best with.

This is perhaps the best film on the American soldier since Black Hawk Down. Yes, American Sniper and Lone Survivor are great films, but Bay does have a great eye and visual style, regardless of you may think of the Transformers movies' overblown stories. Like all the best war films, this focuses on the soldiers (technically ex-soldiers in this case, now working for the CIA), and what they go through. Not just another Bay action film, very intense in content and emotion. John Krasinski, a long way from The Office, is going to surprise people here. Bottom line is this: People have been talking about Benghazi for the past years, yet few still seem to know what exactly happened there. This movie fills in that blank and reminds us, while we sleep in our safe little world, our soldiers selflessly hold the line around the globe.

If you liked Lone Survivor and American Sniper, then you will most likely like this movie. There is no star-studded, A-list cast, but that didn't matter. The movie was fantastic and makes you appreciate the Armed Forces and being an American.

Had never seen it before but a good movie on blu ray.

Excellent movie. Lots of action but also had the human/family element. Haven't gotten to view the bonus disc yet, but I am looking forward to it to (perhaps) determine how the movie compares to the news/info publically available.
