I have a new high end DVD player and it would not read the DVD. Returned it for a different movie. The Best Buy customer service folks were real nice.

Unrelated to this purchase. I was in the store a couple of weeks ago to purchase a tablet. I had a question or two. But there was no one there to help me. The one guy near the tablets was chatting with a girlfriend for over 30 minutes. There was another clerk that said she was busy with a customer, and said she would be right back. Never came. So I gave up and went home and ordered from Amazon. When customers are standing around looking for help, someone should help them. Just for you to know this has also happened to me before in the Stroudsburg store.

It's sad that those Americans lost their lives over there but I always have to wonder if they weren't there in the first place it would've never happened!

Storyline good for an actionfilled movie but it did not satisfy. Found it boring and probably will not watch it again.

I was extremely disappointed with this product as it was sold in the area where DVD and the Blueray discs were sold however; this disc is a 4K Ultra HD + Digital? I wasn't aware of this until I opened the product and attempted to watch it. My system repeatedly stated that the disc is not recognizable!

While the picture quality is top notch in owning to the pristine 4K HDR transfer, the half-told narrative merely serves to keep our bankrupting foreign entanglements going at full blast. The whys of our presence there aren't even broached upon.

This one feels like over-the-top propaganda pushing a political agenda. Constant shooting and forced in-your-face fake patriotism. Feels like a Trump/Mel Gibson joint, which is appealing to some, but should be filed under historical fiction.

I enjoyed watching this in theatres but the digital code didn't work at all. I contacted those handling the digital delivery and never heard back from them and it's been months.

My low rating is about the Steelbook case. Everyone at the local store was damaged and in poor condition. Very disappointing. As for the movie itself imho it was just ok.

    A "High-Speed" "On-Point" Tragic Tale

    Posted .

13 Hours is, without doubt, one the most moving, dramatic, intense and powerful moving-pictures that I have ever viewed. The director, Michael Bay, had a keen eye for authenticity, dramatic special effects as-well-as telling the “real” story capturing the essence of the multiple attacks on two American compounds in Libya 2012. He got it right – he captured the core and spirit of the attacks, the lingo and “moves” of the defenders, and he also told the story of career bureaucrats who both hesitated and “bumbled” their responsibilities. If this film does not hold your attention no film ever will – it’s highly realistic, “on-point” during its entire duration, high-speed all the way and it is a credit the Director, the entire Cast and Production Crew. You won’t believe this story until you see it. Our guys did themselves well but our command structure did not do well by them! This is a story of true American heroism and it is also a story of failure, embarrassment and tragedy that could have been prevented – since its implication and significant meaning is powerful you will be inclined to come back to it more than just once.

Who Even Is Michael Bay Afterall?

I originally wrote this movie off the moment I saw it. John Krasinski of The Office fame in a starring role as a hardened military veteran? And directed by the master of explosions, Michael Bay no less? There's no way that this is going to have any substance or be much of anything. Oh, how wonderfully wrong I was. This film is without a doubt one of my favorite films of 2016 and I can highly recommend it without question. It's visceral, it's guttural & most importantly it depicts the reality of our actions. Every part of it manages to touch you in one way or another. You'll be laced with emotions throughout your entire viewing. Word of the wise, it's not for the faint of heart. There are instances where things can be a little 'too real' for some with weak stomachs. Again, I highly recommend this film and the steelbook itself is quite great.

    Bravery and sacrifice

Excellent portrayal of the events and terrorist attack on the US consulate and compound that occurred in Benghazi. The movie is really interesting as it has character development, showing the lives and the security team’s missions, before the fateful night. The team’s heroics is remarkable. But what is frustrating is the administrative hurdles that held them back, along with the lack of any response, no Marine rescue platoon or even a flyby from fighter jets. Being a Michael Bay film, there is plenty of action scenes that shows the horrors of war. But more important, it shows the bravery of those who lost their lives protecting Americans against a terrorist attack.
