This is a good movie. I expected it to be very violent, however they focused more on story than violence which is what made it better. Sad but good. A must if you like war movies. Sounds/Looks great, too.

Excellent movie. Dolby Atmos is excellent. It's a dark movie but Dolby Vision tracks well. HDR10 on my TV looked crushed (2019 LG LCD Nano 9000) with some banding but overall a decent experience in both modes.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He really liked the movie, especially the way it was filmed as a continuous shot. It was cheaper than Amazon & came in a steel case with next day shipping. Very pleased!

A true story of one brother sent with a friend to save his older brother from a devastating German ambush. All they have to do is get past several different camps of German soldiers. A well told story of valor and bravery.

I love the look of this steelbook. Once again Best Buy did a great job. Or whomever designs these covers. Movie is an awesome spectacle and the style in which it was shot. The sound is great on my ATMOS set up.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE WAR MOVIES. SOUND AND PICTURE IS AT A TOP LEVEL. CINEMETOGRAPHY IS AT THAT LEVEL AS WELL. ONE OF THE BEST OF THE YEAR.

This is one of those movies that if you love cinema you have to own. S. Mendes again shows he is a master behind the camera. A movie that looks like it was one long shot, with amazing photography and music.

Let's face it, there isn't a lot of WWI movies out there. At all. "1917" is a unique war experience in the way it was filmed, and it tells a decent story. But you miss the overall picture of the The Great War inside of this story - and I'm pretty sure that's the point. That being said, it's worth a watch or two. The 4K representation is stunning and the sound mix is excellent.

Took my son to watch this when it was in the theaters as he loves to watch and read about wars and the accuracies or inaccuries and I watched this with him and actually enjoyed it as well.

I love war films and a huge fan of Saving Private Ryan and much more. My coworker told me this movie was good and yes me and my wife loved this film. Please purchase this film and it will go great on your movie collection.

When I watched this movie i could not believe my eye's and ears. The hdr was done so fluidly you dont even notice all the grey scale which is a common thing among war movies. I highly recommend this movie to any and all.

This movie is terrific, story is constantly tense and gripping. The idea of seamless transition brings the action alive. Scenery and CGI is top-notch. The whole family enjoyed this movie - especially in 4K.

I really enjoyed this film. Some reviewers did not like the slow pacing. I found it to be just right. The sets, costumes, and complexity of the shots coupled with the story were amazing. The 4K REALLY sets this film alive.

This story was very well written action & personal tragedies throughout movie. The ending was very emotional makes you think what war is all about.

What a fantastic movie. It was shot as one continues scene. Lots of action, and drama. I love it when you are watching a movie and it is almost over before you know it. Totally engrossing and a wonderful experience.

1917 is a masterpiece of a film that I hope all can see. The steelbook is beautiful and sturdy, the numbers on the front embossed. There was not a single blemish found.

This movie was kind of like watching a WW1 documentary. All of the uniform's and type's of equipment where period correct. The acting was outstanding. this movie showed the stupidly of TRENCH warfare.

The movie starts off a bit slow in the beginning, but it gets intense later in the movie. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who has an interest in WW1.

This is a great war film. Is it one of the best of all time? Probably not, but the way it is filmed makes it stand out and unique. Worth the watch based on story and directing alone.

1917 in my opinion is a film worth watching. You follow the main character struggle throughout film and constantly in awe at the filmography and soundtrack. it looks great on 4k and the digital copy is always a plus.
