1917 is a masterpiece! Definitely one of the best war movies of our time. The steelbook is amazing too. The title is debossed. The only problem is it’s too easy to scratch. Overall a great buy!

1917 is not a classic war movie so I mark it down a star. Just watched Midway a few weeks ago which is a tough act to follow. The film work is very good although a little too much following the soldiers in trenches in the early part. WWI movies are hard to come by so this was nice for a little change.

1917 is a magnificent film. Thrilling, exciting, suspenseful and seamless camerawork, this is a can't miss, and this Blu Ray brings out all the film's greatness. A must-have for any film fan!

Excellent World War I movie... good story line... visual effects and choreography seemed very realistic to the time period... definitely gave you a fair idea of what soldiers had to endure during WW 1

Epic one-shot movie ever. At least it was made in that way to be one big shot which is really amazing. This is the best of all one-shot movies ever made. The whole movie is so intense and so tight.

The ideal way to watch this film is on a good, large, 4K screen with surround sound. A theater is ideal, but this 4K HDR release is the next best thing. Great movie - super impressive filmmaking.

Such a great movie. I love that once it starts, the action never ends. I also like how the opening scene relates to the closing scene. If you’re on the fence about picking it up, do yourself a favor and get it.

Great movie for history buffs. Although it is based on two characters it seems to follow the events that took place fairly accurately.

A thrilling and beautiful cinematic experience. Experiencing it in theaters and at home, the experience is the same, with gripping scenes and wonderful takes on WWI. It really shows the gruesome events of the war and how a single action can change the tide of war. I highly recommend this movie for any war buff or any average movie goer!

1917 is an interesting story of two men chosen to save British Infantry from a planned German trap. The first man was chosen because of his map skills and the fact that his older brother was in one of the units that was headed into the ambush. The second was a friend of the first man. It's a good movie mixed with trials, sadness, and gratitude.

The "one-shot" effect of the entire film is uncanny. Even after watching the "Making of" bonus, I'm not sure how they accomplished it. It's vivid in 4K, and visually stunning. Exceeded my expectations.

This movie turned out really good in my opinion! Very well thought out war movie. Plenty of action and a strong storyline with a good group of actors. If you’re into war movies than you need to see this movie!!

This is the story of just one day shot continuously. A bit like the old series 24 and just as riveting. Non-stop action. Really captures the horror and absurdity of war and the triumph of the human spirit.

This movie shows the futility of fighting in World War I in the year of 1917. This story of two British soldiers trying to stop a futile attack against German fortified positions. It is a very good movie.

High tension, high drama story focused on two ordinary soldiers in extraordinary circumstances during WWI. Many lives depend on their successfully completing their assignment. Can they rise to the challenge?

I am glad I got this movie. I really enjoyed it. It was definitely a tug at your heart movie. The cinematography was great. I will be watching it again.
