This truly was a great war movie. It has all the great war elements but it also doesn't differently and an interesting take on the war genre. The 4k is amazing and I truly recommend it!!

Great WW I action movie. Non-stop action, with great scenes and scenery throughout. Realistic, superb acting. Highly recommend this movie...must have!!!

Overall one of the best war movies out there. The all in one shot view of this movie made it like playing a video game in first person but made you get sucked in. Watched it many times already.

Not as good as Midway or Saving Private Ryan. But better then pearl harbor and dunkirk. Still very good movie but not alot of action. All based on getting the information.

1917 goes down as the "Finding Private Ryan" for WWI. Set in a near impossible situation during WWI, it tells an incredible story about the journey of one man on a mission. Can't wait to watch it again.

This is a gift for my adult son, who has an extensive DVD movie collection. He wanted to add the 1917 BluRay dvd. It is a brilliant WW1 epic, directed by Sam Mendez. It is an action filled with fabulous acting. It will keep my son’s attention from the beginning to the end. This dvd is a nice edition to my son’s action adventure dvds.

Amazing film. It is an unimaginable position to thinknof your self in, however these brave men turned heroes did the most important job while in the most imperfect situation.

Great movie. Very authentic and immersive audio and video. Watching on my Vizio Oled with my Onkyo atmos setup makes me understand why movie theaters are becoming a thing of the past sadly.

Not only is it a cinematic marvel, but it tells a heartfelt and compelling story set amongst World War I which is a rare setting unto itself. Both beautiful, horrifying and tragic, it is a tremendous film.

Nolan does it again. Saw this on the big screen before Covid lockdowns and it was great. This UHD transfer is just as good. Crisp detail, rich contrast and a booming soundtrack.

I love everything about this movie. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Loved that it gives the illusion that scenes are continuous; that the camera cuts to once scene. A must have for steelbook collectors.

Missed this one the first time, was content with having to pay scalpers prices to get this steelbook in my collection. So glad Best Buy brought this back, and the price was outstanding.

The movie is done really well. Moves a little slow, but it only draws out the intensity of the characters in the movie. Beautifully shot. Loads of bonus features to further enhance the blu ray experience.

What a breathtaking film. The shots never end, the actors never break, the character development is fast and hard. Top notch cinematography and a simple, but absolutely enthralling plot.

The story was interesting enough on its own, but add in the fact that this movie was filmed with only one camera following behind or in front of the actors throughout it and it's an amazing thing to see.

This movie was very suspenseful. Its like the war version of The Revenant. Also helps when you have a dope surround sound. I was very impressed with the cinematography. 2 thumbs up.

My favorite recent war movie. The fact that the movie was filmed in one continuous shot is very impressive, throw in 4k resolution and be prepared for a visually stunning masterpiece.

This movie is definately worth seeing. As can be expected, many scenes of how awful war can be and the amazing heroics of individuals. Sound and picture are amazing.

This one will knock you right out of your seat. Winning historical account that is virtually unknown to the younger generation. See it in amazing 4k UHD HDR and truly wonderful multi channel sound.
