One of the best films of 2019 if not the best. From the story to the cinematography this film has you alert and sitting on the edge of your seat for its entirety.

Amazing movie. The one scene gimmick that runs through the entire movie works perfectly. This is one of those movies worth investing in good surround sound for.

This is a good movie about World War I, a war that doesn't get much coverage in film or TV. I liked the fact that the main character was the director's relative and the camera angles added a ton to the production. I would have enjoyed seeing a bit more than just the one mission and that's the main downside of the film.

Went to the Theatre to watch this movie then decided it was at must have on dvd/digital. Excellent war movie! Best Buy is always a go to place for new releases.

1917 is one of those films that comes along too infrequently. It's a well directed film with great actors who tell a story that to most is unfamiliar. I highly recommend it!

This UHD release presents a practically night-and-day difference to the regular blu-ray. Roger Deakins’ cinematography just pops and leaps from the screen. This is a visual treat for fans of the film, and an essential UHD release for videophiles (even though I can’t quite call the film itself a masterpiece).

This is certainly one of the top 10 films I have seen. So many details and vivid scenes. Watching in in 1917 brings out the best moments in this movie. Bravo !

The "one shot take" cinematography lives up to the hype. Set your mindset that you are there with them and it will make your viewing experience more enjoyable.

I was fine with getting just the regular 4K edition but then I saw the Steelbooks were back. I knew that I had to get one since last time I wasn’t able to get one

A show that is worth knowing the history and what many veterans are doing to fight for our country and to honor them in a film is great! Also, based on my daughter who took film class said it's a 'One-Scene' movie no cuts, which was one of reason for the Award. It's a good historical event to know.

This movie is so well done that I didn't mind the slower moments. You can feel the intensity of each action scene as the 4k video frames the scenes so well!

This is not fast action war movie It does go a little slow but all the little surprises helps keep it going plus the story line makes this one of my favorites for war movie

I really enjoyed this movie. I was unable to see it at the theater. Upon the recommendation of friends, I purchased the 4K Bluray. I really enjoyed it and the added features.

Was bought for someone else but have watched it however it wasn’t what I expected although it was good I was thinking more of saving private ryan more action.

Storyline is compelling. Overall production is amazing. Fantastic cinematography. Seeing in the theater was the best experience, and adding to my video library was a must.

This by far is my number #1 4k reference disc I own. The camera perspective is amazing. The audio mix makes you feel like you are their on the battlefield. Highly recommend.

The story and action are very good, but to me the extremely long takes (think Birdman or Children of Men) is the more fascinating and entertaining aspect.

Easily one of the most visually compelling war stories every put to film. It's a heart pounding, breathtaking journey with an equally great film score. Give this one a shot!
