I like most WW1 or WW2 films, this one was no exception. Very interesting story. Just survive. Maybe a bit to “clean” in its depiction of the trenches and battlefield.

Great movie, first watched it at the movies and still great to watch at home, especially in 4K, bought it when it was on sale.

The Dolby Vision and Atmos encoded disc creates an experience close to the original theatrical experience. Just make sure to see it on the biggest screen possible.

I bought this to test my new 4K player and it’s the best looking thing I’ve ever seen on my TV. Excellent special features and a must have high def disc.

One of the best looking 4K movies available on Blu-ray. Picture quality is absolutely stunning. Image is smooth and dark colors are on point.

The reviews that say more style than substance are partially right. The story is a slice of life following some folks on a mission, but not grand plot aside, mostly action set pieces with cool camera tricks. War movie fans should enjoy it even if it covers some old territory a wee bit.

What can I say 1917 is one of a kind. I have never seen a movie like it. I don't want to give it away so trust me when you can sit back and watch it.

Bought this for the Dolby Atmos soundtrack. The story is a moving rollercoaster with very little downtime. Sounded pretty good on the home theater setup.

This movie is a masterpiece. The all in one take approach is awe inspiring and the movie itself is Beautiful. Highly Recommend. The steelbook itself is also beautiful.

It took me a while to watch this dvd; but I was amazed with the story and the way they seamlessly edited it to make it look like one continuous shot.

Haven’t seen a movie this good in some time. Keeps you entertained from beginning to end and the journey it takes you on is unbelievable. Simply amazed.

One of my favorite WWI films. Very realistic war film, incredible set design. I am glad I didn't have to dig the trenches.

I could for the obvious pun, of "run, don't walk" to see this movie...but I won't. Great story and beautifully done. Your sound system will get a workout here.

Picked this up for a steal on Black Friday and wow does this movie blow me away! If you like engaging war movies, you DEFINITELY won't be disappointed.

Great film. The UHD 4K makes this even more immersive. The story is engaging, but the technical feat and cinematography are really impressive.
