As the son of an infantry career soldier, this movie strikes a note to illustrate what these men endured at that time and clearly shows their sacrifices.

Famous for its beginning long shot, this movie does not manage to outshine other similar World War I movies. It is probably better than movies from last year (2019), but the reason that it did not win Best Picture is apparent when it leaves the viewer with an empty feeling at the end.

it was on sale, bought it as a gift, it should have won the Oscar!!! Definitely recommending this movie to anyone who loves this Genre!!!!

Excellent movie! Some of the scenes were supposely 1 take. Appreciate these techniques and with that, the stories and visuals just work....

Steel book packaging in simple but quite beautiful in a classic black with the embossed 1917 title. The picture quality on this 4K release is beautiful.
