This film has a very unusual pace. It kind of builds upon a series of sequences across NoMans Land. Long, but kept my attention.

First time I watched this in HD, big mistake. This movie can only be enjoyed in 4K with HDR.

1917 has quickly become one of the best war films of all time. It’s a technical marvel and the 4K is one of the best of the format.
