Excellent war film that doesn't overstay its welcome. Some war films are just a but too epic for my tastes, and I feel like most of them can be slimmed down a bit. Also interesting that this one take place in WWI. Really excellent movie and can't recommended this one enough.

I purchased a number of new movies for the new TV, CD player, and sound system I purchased. Well I picked 1917 as just a movie to complete the number needed. Wow was I wrong. I did not expect this movie to be so very good. I loved it and will wat h it again soon. Highly recommended to all.

What a great wonderful movie. I love the way they filmed this movie. All on one continuous shoot. This movie really put you in the year 1917. Right in the action and also right behind the actors. In that 3rd person view. All war movies should be filmed like this great one!

My son went to see this movie with a friend. When he came home, he said, “I’m buying this movie when it comes out!” He also went and saw it three more times. So, when it came out, I had to get it for my little guy. We watched it as a family and it was great. It is a great movie. Buy it, watch it!

Truly an outstanding picture if your a fan of movies. This is not only a must watch but a must own. The movie was an awesome experience and along with my sound bar was amazing. The film stands out as my top ten films to watch. The film is breathtaking.

1917 is a visually stunning flick in 4K. I have a dolby atmos set up which acoustically enhances the aesthetics of this film. The one-shot style of the movie gives it a unique quality and is worth the watch. Would give 5 stars if the storyline was more complex. Best Buy shipped this item to me efficiently and the quality of the disc was great. I would recommend owning this title as it is an above average war movie along with its appealing visuals.

I love this movie and I can't believe that before seeing it in theaters that I doubted this movie would be that good but it's just so amazing that It MUST be seen by anyone who loves war movies or just good movies in general. The quality of the Audio and Video for this 4k UHD release is TOP NOTCH.

Solid enough film, if a little underwhelming in their use of "single-take" filmmaking. Because it wasn't, and it was very obvious where many of the cuts were, which was frustrating, because they had some that were amazingly executed. Some excellent scenes though, and worth a watch if you haven't seen it. Was frustrated the steelbook was sold out and decided to get this cheaper packaged version instead. But for a Black Friday deal at a low price, not bad at all.

This was a blind buy for me. I missed this movie in the theater so was not sure on what to expect. I saw the good reviews but was still a bit hesitant. I was expecting another Saving Private Ryan, but it did not turn out that way. Over all I really did like the movie and the 4k picture is great.

This film is marvelous, especially when you step back and think about how much attention to detail was paid to execute and realize Mendes and Deakins' technical ambition. The cover art is also beautifully done -- simple but effective. A must-have for any fans of the film!

I really enjoy watching this movie on 4K. The effect of the war and what was going in history was a eye opening because I read about it but see it brings things in perspective. I always like war movie but this one is top notch; if you into movie watch this one because it want disappoint.

Basically filmed in a series of long continuous takes this is a thrilling and well made movie about a single day in the lives of two soldiers during WWI. Highly recommend.

Everything About this bluray release should entertain any movie fan of war films. The picture sound everything is sharp clear and enjoyable. The film itself is much deserving of all of the Academy Awards it received. A masterful that will continue to impress into the history of humanity.

WOW! Talk about a cinematography delight! This movie was so superbly shot that it easily makes you feel like you're there. I can't get over how amazing it is to watch it in 4K on an OLED. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The steelbook is quite awesome too!

This movie is one of the best war films I had seen in awhile the cinematography, story, cast, and the effects are fantastic. as for the steelbook it is great to describe what to be expect for the details on the film for the design. This movie is highly recommended, and is worth picking up.

My wife and I did not get a chance to see this movie in the theater. I'm sure it was much better, but we have a 60" TV and surround sound so ourexperience was still really great. The story and the way the movie was shot makes this movie worth owning. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

The 4K picture on this is quite crisp and you won't be disappointed. If you've never seen this film it is a must for any war movie buff or person that simply enjoys being entertained. It is shot differently than most films and it's quite a feat they accomplished.

Great action learned a lot about war war one that I didn’t know before I definitely great Buy I think you’ll be sorry if you don’t buy it put it that way definitely learned a lot about World War I not too many movies out there talk about World War I so goodbye definitely a goodbye

**This review is based on the packaging/design only** This steelbook looks very sharp! Love the overall design and artwork. It has a very glossy finish which does smudge some but not a big deal. The product arrived in perfect condition with no dents or dings to be found.

This movie gets to the point and doesn't add anything unnecessary. watching the journey of the two carriers in a race against time was amazing. the cinematography was beautiful and the mimic of a one shot was very well done. Over all watch this movie it was beautiful and a thrill ride.
