This film displays the utter horrors of war in a way I'd never seen before. I went to see it twice in the theater and I felt the dramatic tension, sadness and horror both times. It's very well-crafted. I thank God its artistry was given to me.

Great movie and very well done. I can understand why all the awards/nominations. I'm going to watch it again just to go back and catch anything missed the first time through. If you don't buy it just rent it so you can see how truly good it is.

After hearing about this movie I was expecting a rehash of Saving Private Ryan. What I got was a visually stunning sometimes harrowing realistic war movie. This is a movie that benefits greatly from 4k resolution.

This stunning recent offering from the war genre is a truly impressive newcomer, presented in a flawless single shot. Heart-thumping ear thrilling immersion and an excellent film to boot. Probably my favorite war film since Saving Private Ryan!

Excellent movie. Of course it is a war movie, between British and Germany, and understandably violent. It is also emotional and informative, settings are terrific. It was a part of history I didn't know about and it was portrayed very well.

I thought this was an excellent view of life in the trenches during World War I. The movie didn't focus as much on the events but more on the human perspective of the war and the tolls it takes on soldiers. it looks excellent in 4K as well.

This movie is so good, you’ll be on the edge of your seat the entire time. The seamless cinematography was so well done, you feel as though you are right there with the characters, joining them on their journey to deliver a message.

Such a fantastic film I've been wanting to get my hands on for quite sometime!! If you haven't seen this film I highly recommend it! Its very well shot and acted.

Saw this film in the theater and now have it for home viewing. It is without a doubt in the Top Five all time war films for it's sheer tension and graphic reality. I would not hesitate to refer this epic adventure to anyone as a must have for film lovers.

I wasn’t sure how this movie would be. But my expectations were blown away! The story was well done and it doesn’t waste any time drawing you in. This movie truly is one of the best war movies made in my opinion. Great movie and a must see!

1917 is a beautifully filmed war movie that takes viewers on mission through the trenches of First World War. The cinematography and storyline is captivating and keeps viewers in thick of the action while following the main character.

This movie was better than expected. After watching it, I did some research about the origin and it was based on a true story by the director’s grandfather. This movie tugs on your heart, so, as with any war movie, get those tissues ready!

This is a great movie. The producers and directors give the audience to continuously follow the movements of the main characters in their experiences. Watching in BluRay enhances this great movie.

This movie is fantastic if you like World War 1 movies. It focuses on two soldiers attempting to relay a message to the front lines to hold off on an attack. Great scenery and atmosphere that will keep on hold of your seat the whole time.

This movie was very compelling. It put you right 'in' the action, and never let up! And the filming style will inspire you to delve into the behind the scenes making of the movie (the main reason I bought it after seeing it in the theater).

I was a little concerned going into this film that it would simply be a rehash of Saving Private Ryan, set in WWI. I was wrong. This is, in my opinion, one of the best WWI films ever made, shot in a very unique way that you'll have to see for yourself.

Made to look like one continuous shot, 1917 is a masterful and tense war film. Certainly one of the best war films in the last 10 years. While it seems like it just might be a gimmick, the emotional aspect is handled just as expertly.

This movie From a technical standpoint is incredible! It’s give the illusion that it’s a “one shot take” from start to finish. The detail is very rich on the 4K transfer. The HDR is relatively muted but that’s is due to the time period it was shot in.
