Fantastic video and audio quality on this 4K UHD disc. Movie itself was decent, with some great moments but the cinematography was really the highlight for me. A solid demo disc if you have a nice system.

Excellent cinematic movie. Filmed as one continuous shot allowing the viewer to connect with the on-screen action. Excellent to view on a large screen. I like that this packaging includes Blu-ray and DVD discs.

I had wanted to see this movie at the theater, but didn't. Now I really wish I has seen it on the big screen. A more realistic war movie with emotions, not just blood and guts. Not glorifying or sanitizing war. Two thumbs up.

It is a crime that 1917 did not win best picture at the academy awards. It is not only one of the greatest war films ever made, it was is revolutionary achievement in modern day filmmaking. You must own this movie.

There’s nothing more to say about this film. From some of my all time war movies like Saving private Ryan, black hawk down, Pearl Harbor, and now 1917. A must own film in 4K!

ONE OF MY FAVORITE WAR MOVIES. SOUND AND PICTURE IS AT A TOP LEVEL. CINEMETOGRAPHY IS AT THAT LEVEL AS WELL. ONE OF THE BEST OF THE YEAR.

This is one of the best war movies of recent date. The camera work and audio is some of the best ever. As enjoyable as Dunkirk if not more. There’s a reason this movie won so many awards you won’t want to miss out

Received my item on time as promised. It was what I ordered and not damaged. This was a replacement order. The first one was never delivered to me. Best Buy was wonderful about replacing the lost shipment.

Great depiction of WWI and the horrific trails that the average soldier had to endure. It also showed the difference between the thinking and arrogance of the Officers and Enlisted. Very insightful.

I already reviewed the steelbook version of this movie, but to re-phrase, this movie is a masterpiece and I'm glad the media is slowly starting to remember that there are more wars than just WWII and the GWOT.

This is a very good war movie. Along with that the technical nature of this film (appearing to become smooth shot) is phenomenal. The audio mix is also great if you want to give your surround sound a work out.

I for some reason did not see this movies in theaters but I was very pleased with it watching at home on the blu ray. The story was exceptional and I learned far more from this movie about WWI than any others I have seen.

I thought I was just getting a visually striking war movie and that is what you get with 1917 but you also get an emotionally grounded tear-jerker that is maybe the most beautiful 4K film I’ve yet seen.

This is the most immersive movie ever created! I can feel the grit of no man's land! The visuals and sound really help pull you in! I was rooting for the main characters and was on the edge of my sit til the end!

This story was very well written action & personal tragedies throughout movie. The ending was very emotional makes you think what war is all about.

What an amazing movie. I try to always purchase the dvd/bluray with the digitial so I can play on my computer without the dvd since I dont have a player on my computer....this movie is FANTASTIC!

Great movie with a very good story line and plot and amazing graphics. It's a war movie with many twists. Have watched it twice and picked up something something I missed the first time. It's a bonus if you can watch it in 4K.

While the story of Saving Private Ryan is replicated for this World War I film, this movie is more of a drama than an action movie. There are some well filmed action scenes, but the pacing is much more deliberate and suspenseful in this movie. The long continuous shots make for some interesting filming, but I felt there could have been a bit more action to keep the film's intensity high.

This is a good movie. I expected it to be very violent, however they focused more on story than violence which is what made it better. Sad but good. A must if you like war movies. Sounds/Looks great, too.
