If you have 5.1 or better this is one of the movies to get. The cinematography is first rate and story was touching but yet loaded with action.

My husband and I loved this movie. The direction makes you feel like you are right in the action of World War I. The cinematography deserved the Oscar it got. Excellent 4k as well.

I'm a history buff and this film doesn't disappoint. The cinematography is amazing. You feel like you're in the trenches and on the battlefields. 4K is the only way to watch this movie.

Great movie and was awesome watching it in 4K HDR on my LG OLED was amazing. This is truly a very visually stunning movie with an incredible story.

1917 great movie, based on a true story of the soldier who lived through this conflict, the movie leave you on the edge of your seat a must watch movie, I give this movie a 5 star.

This steelbook has such a sleek feel and look to it, the colors of the "1917" pop out beautiful in contrast to the rest of the black steelbook. Also, a fantastic movie in its own right!

I’m an avid collector of 4K movies. This is a must for any collection. The sound alone is tremendous. Visually it KILLS. Not to mention it’s a great movie too. Trifecta.

I'm usually not a fan of the whole first person viewing as I'm this film but it's done well where it's not distracting at all. Audio was great in this film as was the video quality.

Amazing technically alone with its one take camera shot. Lots of great tense build up in some scenes. Don’t go in expecting a war battle scenes as there is rarely any.

This is a great film. Filmed using an unusual single camera approach and in 4.2k. The 4k disk is exceptional. The acting memorable. The directing is the main reason to watch this film.

I thought there would be a lot of trench fighting but was surprised--and appreciated--when it went a different way. This is a very good portrayal of message transmission pre-radio.

As you may know, the film plays out as though it were shot in a single take from beginning to end. It's an interesting gimmick that's been done not very often in film history, and it's executed here very well. Beyond that, though, this was a very dramatic story and very affecting.

One of the most realistic war movies that I've ever seen. Not to mention the way that it was shot added depth to the story. I was definitely not disappointed with the purchase.
