Great movies, based on director/producer/writer's grandfathers experiences in WWI. Like Saving Private Ryan, best played with volume at 11.

puts you right into the movie. They say this was shot as one continuous scene and it moves like it was. Kind of a "private Ryan" of WWI. Does not glamorize war.

Really good movie! At first I thought something was off then i started to notice that the movie doesn’t switch scenes or into different camera angles.

Not many people understand the amazing aspect of this film. This has got to be on my top list of favorite movie. It is creatively genius! Highly recommend it.

The cinematography of this film is outstanding. The soundtrack keep the intensity up & moving. I thoroughly enjoy this film & will continue to for years to come.

I like most WW1 or WW2 films, this one was no exception. Very interesting story. Just survive. Maybe a bit to “clean” in its depiction of the trenches and battlefield.

A very unvarnished movie set during World War 1. It's very well done. I was amazed. They definitely went for visceral realities of war, not a romanticized tale.

This movie keeps moving. It reminds me of alfred hitchcock's movie, "rope" with the one shot feel. The movie is beautiful all the way through.

The whole movie was one shot no breaks. Crystal clear presentation and great sound as well. Starts off somewhat slow but gets better as it goes. Great movie

1917 is a really good movie and a must see as we are not introduced to the actuality of what it was like in WWI vs WWII or the Vietnam war. Movie wouldn't have worked without the brother/friend bond throughout the movie.

I really enjoyed watching this movie one of the best I have seen in a while. It does rate good like the awards it has received. I cannot wait to show it to my friends.

Although the movie is slow paced, its visuals and sounds are A+, especially when the action revved up. War is hell, and in trench warfare you are reminded of that fact, up-close. Can't say i wholeheartedly recommend it (mot my cup of tea), but, I will say it won't hurt to own this one.

The Dolby Vision and Atmos encoded disc creates an experience close to the original theatrical experience. Just make sure to see it on the biggest screen possible.

I love this movie because it actually use the cinematic language (show don’t tell), and the 4k looks awesome. Your sound/ hometheater will get a good workout.

I bought this to test my new 4K player and it’s the best looking thing I’ve ever seen on my TV. Excellent special features and a must have high def disc.
