Exactly what I needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is exactly elegant I wanted: a high quality sound bar integrated with Roku. It came with an HDMI cable and an optical audio cable. I plugged both in, plugged it in, and it was the easiest setup process I have ever had. I bought the Roku subwoofer, too, and the difference in sound quality with the sound bar and the subwoofer blew me away. It was like the difference between the audio quality of your cell phone and that of a movie theater. This thing is perfect - adjust the sound volume with the remote, it works like a charm. I was shocked at how much the Roku sub woofer added to the sound. After having heard the sound with and without the subwoofer, you absolutely should get the companion subwoofer: it makes that much difference. The sound bar itself is awesome: it balances out the treble so that dramatic music and sound effects down drown out and wash away the dialog: you can clearly hear what actors are saying without having to mess sound trying to balance and equalize treble and bass: it worked perfectly out of the box. Highly recommended

Nice-looking product; but no tone controls on remo

Unfortunately it lacks tone controls on the remote; unbelievable/unacceptable for a Hi-Fi product. Therefore I never hooked it up and I returned it within Best Buy's miserly 15-day 'window'.

Wouldn't work for my situation

1 roku too many

I wanted it to be the center channel for my Roku TV but I'd have to use the sound bar roku interface instaed of the native tv one. I returned it. So close to being a perfect solution.

It is been from constant day one in-and-out on the Internet. The Wi-Fi is very sketchy. It has been constant results. I have tried everything I read about all the support it don't matter. The screen is literally stuck on a screen now where I can't even cast to.. There is absolutely no customer support. While I kept doing was following the troubleshooting step-by-step. II read everybody's comment I tried that by that period there is no such thing as a secret screen this is a secret screen. I am very disappointed in this product. I feel like roku as scamming people Ming people and trying to get them to believe that this can createWi-Fi in a smart TV.

Other devices currently accessing the network, such as other streaming players, computers, game consoles, and mobile devices may affect the quality of your network connection. You might want to temporarily stop using any such device and check if that makes a difference. If your router and Roku device both support 5GHz, you could also try connecting to the 5GHz wireless network for improved network strength.
Alternatively, it may also help to manually change the wireless channel. You can find more details about how to executive this at the bottom of this FAQ article: https://support.roku.com/article/213122277.

Slow and buggy!! Spend Your Money Elsewhere...

But I had problems from day one with this combo. The speaker sounds decent when it works. The streaming system built in feels like a years old basic streaming stick... SLOWWW!! It will randomly freeze and reboot. Some videos won't even play without lagging and crashing. I looked this problem up online and seems very common due to a software update that ruined the product. I will never recommend another roku product to anyone. Which is unfortunate since I loved them in the past. I am returning this definitely.

Soundbar is great but fails to make subwoofer work

Ok if using with only a tv

Was very disappointed with this sound bar. Once I disconnected it to return it, I found out my tv no longer had sound. My sound on my tv didn’t work anymore. That’s when I returned it and invested in surround sound with a receiver. Way better option. Now I can hook up everything to it.

Worked, Then Didn't

I dealt with Roku for several weeks and they determined that the issue was the remote. They provided a replacement which did not work, either. However, I was able to use the unit with the remote function in the Android app. This worked OK for several months until I moved. Now the soundbar does not work at all. Since I am not inclined to work with Roku, again; and, my smart TV has most of what I want to watch I will stay with just my TV.

Totally dissatisfie with ROKU and Best Buy

It did not enhance the sound from our TV and when I tried to set up a ROKU account on it it is in spanish not english. I had waited to set up for several weeks and now saw this morning when wanting to return it that I it is not returnable. I have never bought anything from Best Buy that did not have a reasonable time period to return it if could not use! Two weeks is not reasonable period of time to make sure something like this is want you wanted and or expected!

Great sound bar & streaming device.

And love the fact Roku is built right into it, very easy to set up and it has just the right amount of bass, especially when you live in an apartment complex. Now if i had a house, would buy something a little louder, but this is great. I also have it hooked up to wireless speakers and it completes my surround sound. Now when you play music like on Amazon music, sound bar really comes to life and gets room thumping loud....

Definitely spend the extra $$$ for a subwoofer.I returned mines a purchased a sound bar w/subwoofer...You have to download the Roku app. Just not worth it.....

When your Roku Smart Soundbar is connected to your TV, you can enjoy big-picture sound from any device connected to your TV, such as a game console, Blu-ray player, or cable/satellite set-top box. You can use the TV remote to switch the active input to whatever device you wish to use, and the sound from that device will automatically play from your soundbar.
To do so, use the included Premium High Speed HDMI Cable to connect your soundbar to the HDMI port labeled ARC on your TV. When using this special port, you do not need to connect additional cables to get audio from your TV (and devices connected to the TV) to your soundbar. As a tip, it is important that you check the settings on your TV and ensure that the ARC and related features are enabled.
