the installation did not take very long and i have no complaints

There is a break in communication between salesman and car audio installers. I purchase specifically what I was told and scheduled an install through a sales man. When I showed up, the installer denied my install since my subwoofer was not purchased through Best Buy. The installer stated the issue is reoccurring and there’s over a hundred people before me who have the same issue and that I should complain to corporate about the miscommunication. I don’t understand how it’s on the customer to identify issues within Best Buy when the employees themselves know the issues. Clearly they are there for the wrong reasons. The installer denied my install and then recommended I contact him directly for a “custom install”. Identifying and informing Best Buy of issues within their business Is not a civil service. I wasted two hours of mine and my wife’s time. I also wasted gas for two vehicles. Now I should spend another 30 minutes informing Best Buy where they are wrong? I am not a paid employee or supervisor. By identifying this issue and informing corporate of a failure within best buy, I am doing someone else’s job.

Great installation with some minor tweaks. Lower parts for installation.

Geek squad was unable to install my amp and subs. The amp I have uses zero guage wire and the guy working said they don't have a crimping tool to hook it up. Asked if I wanted to buy a different wiring kit which I declined. I appreciated his honesty that he couldn't perform the job correctly without possibly damaging my equipment. Though it would be nice on either best buy or geek squad to inform customers that they can't install any amplifier systems that require a zero guage wire

Very through, they took the time to explain everything.

Took them a little longer than quoted. But it was because they didn't know they had to hook the line converter to a factory amp my car had. They also had to remove the panel where my seatbelt goes. And it is loose now and not flush as it was.
