    Install just OK. The second time.

    Waited a few weeks to get the install done due to Christmas rush. Everything went fine, then the sub stopped working. After another week wait and a trip back to Best Buy, the wires inside the sub turned out to be lose they they had to re-tighten. After that, everything was fine. Lots of wires still exposed which I think could have been tucked away better. This is by no means a custom install.

    The amp produces the lows i was looking for. Put the sound range in my stock auto sound system.

    sub-woofer and amp install = dead car battery

    I had Geek Squad install a sub-woofer and amp in a car. Two days later the car wouldn't start. Called road side assistance and found they didn't install it to the battery correctly, bent a case to hold it on where the connection was not secure. Now I had to buy a new car battery and not able to use the sub-woofer until Geek Squad installs it correctly. They also should have installed something that stops the amp from continuously drawing from the battery when the car is off. Maybe that was that the part they said they didn't need and had me return it? Either way both roadside and the tech who installed the new battery said anyone with install knowledge knows better to do what was done for installation in my car. I will give someone 1 more week to respond to me from this store and make things right or I will start a BBB complaint and contact Best Buy Corporate for resolution.

    Low quality installation. Sloppy. Used electrical tape rather than wire ties. Left wire loom in engine compartment. Connected powered sub to high pass right rear speaker rather than factory subwoofer. Contacted sub manufacturer after install. Signal connection point is contrary to manufacturer's recommendation. Not a good experience.

    Didn't like placement of my amplifier

    The agents mounted my amplifier to back of my rear seat in my trunk of my car that does not lower or open anywhere giving me zero access to my amplifier without un plugging my subwoofers from it.. not all that satisfied or happy with that fact..

    The techs installed powered subwoofer and only connected it to one channel instead of both rear so only plays half the bass. The remote power turn on was wired Into a always on power supply so amp never turns off.

    I had booked an amp and sub installation through the online service for my Buick enclave. The service tech had me buy another $120 part on top of the installation fee and $80 amp kit. After taking two and a half hours longer than he said it would take, I take the car home with not much difference in the music. As I am packing the car for my trip the next day, I noticed that my whole side panel that he had to remove is now cracked and my Bose speaker is gone. On top of all that I have no idea what wire he tied into for my power source but my speakers constantly pop when the key is out. I am very disappointed in my service! The reason I went there is because I thought it would be professionally done. I don't know if I could have messed it up more than the service tech did, but I know I would have saved myself some money.

    I had a bad experience with the manager he told to come back and get my car and money all be cause I said they was not doing business right I didn’t yell or anything I said it calm. I have stage 4 cancer so I ask them to make sure I have everything I need to install my car audio I had to go back and forward 5 times buying more wires I had just did chemo so I was beat that’s what I ask them every time is this all I need so I didn’t have to come back so the 5th time I said this is crazy I’m tired why are you running me like this you do this everyday you should know what I need the first day. I spent like $830 he took it personal and lost the $830 who is in business not to make money that’s crazy.

    Had Best Buy do the amp and sub install. Overall install is ok. Took them 2.5 -3 hrs with appt.

    I’m getting vary poorly and not happy one bit I payed for my install a few months back they told me I had to wait a month I was like ok I understand but when it came close to it like a day away they said they had to reschedule it I was not happy about but got over it then they reschedule it again a few days before then I was told I had to come may 2 and we’ll may 2 came and guess what I got a call 2 hours before tell me they got to reschedule it again this time I had it this is not a way to treat your customers at all vary poor service I want it done as soon as possible I don’t care if someone has to come in early or stay late I’m not waiting a mouth again that’s a joke if they try that with me

    Install techs didn't know how to install!

    This deal sounds good initially. However, best buy has reduced their number of install locations so i had to make an appt for a location an hour away to get install as early as two weeks away. I made the drive and after waiting for an hour nearby was told that they didnt know how to install this in my car. I was asked to make another appt with another best buy (apparently better techs) which wouldnt happen for another month. They also dont permit customers to call in advance to verify that they can install. Bad experience overall. The products may have been good but i didnt get the chance to verify due to extremely poor service and techs who didnt know how to do the work.

    The tech completely destroyed my speaker to my encloser that he installed. I had to pay to get someone to re install it. And pay to get a new speaker that he blew up. My whole trunk was smoking less than 15 minutes from leaving Best Buy. I will never ever come back. He was extremely rude when confronting him I had to get a manager.

    agent did a horrible job. Didnt mount my amp so now it swings around while in transit. Also my head unit is loose since they did not put it back properly. Last time I take my car here.
