Kicker hideaway almost installed

I was bumped out of my appointment due to the fact that the installation techs messed up on the customers vehicle before mine so best buy tried to reschedule me to 2 weeks out. So much for being an elite customer, i should have been a priority but atleast i have have other in town options

Terrible

I ended up having to go home and hook up my own remote wire for the Amp. Brenden and his supervisor Dillon had no idea what they were doing. Would never use them again and highly recommend you find somewhere else. I should be asking for my money back…

Took my money

I tried to get an appointment but it would have taken weeks, so I installed it myself. I then went to the store to get a refund and they told me there was nothing they could do to return my money. I then went online to see if I could cancel the order but there was no way to get a refund of any kind. I will never buy anything from Best Buy due to this matter!

Posted .Hi Matt – It’s awesome that you were able to get those amps installed yourself. That can be a tricky job! Under our Return & Exchange Promise completed services can’t be returned, but if the service wasn’t completed we should be able to get you a refund. If you bought the service in the store I’d suggest heading back in and speaking with a manager. If you bought it online please give us a call at 1-888-BESTBUY (1-888-237-8289).

Horrible installation

Not working properly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The installation was not what I expected and the speaker quit working and everything makes a buzzing noise and smells like it’s burning I am worried my equipment is going To catch on fire! This is a horrible experience and I would Be happy if I could Get you guys to fix the issues I have been trying to resolve for Over 3 months!!!!

Will never use this store again

Of course the weight of the amp ripped the screws out, leaving holes in my seat and damaging the amp. Line output converter was installed under trunk interior... so you couldn't get to it to adjust any settings.

Didn’t listen, improper set up

They needed installation kits which were going to cost me $200 more on top of what I paid already for the installation with the total tech support.

Amp installed bad

Not that good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They got it all hooked up nice and hidden but wired the amp to the sub wrong. My sub blew out two times already just got my third one and finally checked their wiring. Fixed it myself. Kicker L7 15. 3rd one I've had to get because of this. that's $1650 since I had to get two new ones after the first one. If I was planning on spending that much would of went to some custom audio place instead.

Stay away!!

Told to buy and the “genius” squad could not complete the task, this wasting my time and money. Stay away from Reynoldsburg, OH store. It’s a joke. Unprofessional, poor communication, and rude. Want to complain to a manager? Good luck the avoid you like Covid.

It worked for six days!

They had my son waiting all night. The store closed and they asked him to leave it overnight. He had work the next day. It only worked for six days and still can't get anywhere with the install team.

Car Amp install

Walked in on the day of the install and the installer said your truck is too new we don't know how to do it. I'm still waiting for my refund being you have to pay upfront!!

Amp Install Labor

The first time I dropped it off for the install there was an issue with cleanliness. However when I looked at the area in question I was able to wipe up the area with a wet wipe. There was no detail cleaning needed. This delayed the install process by almost 4 weeks. I was not impressed with the customer service

The email was in reference to an exchange I was allowed by Best Buy, wirh no clarity. After going thru several promps, selecting several numbers, I was placed on a silent hold. After (at least) 30 min, I disconencted the call.

I had a amp installed and when they were done there was a new hole on my firewall for wiring when there was already a factory hole to use. And it fried my battery same daybof installation.

Just horrible

He didn’t finish the installation until 8 o’clock and on top of that he didn’t even wire my amplifier to my speakers correctly. They weren’t even pushing any bass out. Very disappointed.
