We use it in the kitchen so we can plug our smart phones or tablets through the USB outlets. Electrical plugs (i.e. coffee grinder, electric can opener, etc.) tend to pull the surge protector out of the wall when you remove the electrical appliance's plug from the surge protector.

Handy tool for phone charging

Put it in the bathroom, so no more having to unplug hair dryer or phone chargers to plug in other items. There is always a spare outlet. Plan to buy another one for the upstairs bathroom.
